I wrote the notes, so I'm partial, but this is a great 40's swing album featuring rare recordings by one of the Count's finest vocalists, featuring Teddy Wilson, Coleman Hawkins, Bud Freeman, Eddie Sauter, Eubie Blake and of course Basie himself...
