I've been a devoted music lover my entire life. I remember my curiosity, as a young man, about the world of classical music, and I vividly recall my introduction to jazz, with evenings in smoky clubs spent listening to giants like Miles Davis who stood just inches from me in a long-defunct San Francisco club, Miles young, and me younger on an ...

Not sure what this has to do with the Great Oil Spill or Obama's strengths/weaknesses as a president. A non-controversial O'Neill piece? What's the world coming to.

But my goodness, this essay sure made me wish I lived Butte County.

Thank you, Jaime, even though you left me envious.

It's odd, Brian, but I never noticed this anti-teleprompter phobia so many of your right wing guys now have back when George W. Bush was reading every thought he had, except for the ones he mangled.
And, though I didn't think much of Obama's speech last night, I didn't hear a whole bunch of lies in it. Could you be a bit more specific and tell all twelve readers of these threads just which things Obama said that were lies. If you want to call someone a liar, it helps to point out just what lies were being told, don't you think?
I know we'd be so much better off if we had a genius like you in Obama's office since you always know best, and operate on pure reason, not "feeeelings," but it sure would be nice, since we're not blessed with your leadership, that you at least inform us of how that lesser mortal in the Oval Office lied in last night's speech. If you can't do that, Brian, you probably should STFU.

How about "we've been there since day one" How about "we're doing all we can to stop this leak"
How about we're doing all we can to clean this" How about we’re doing all we can to contain this mess”
So Jaime, how about you STFU! Moron.
I expected no less or more from an imbecile like you jaime.

What has your comment got to do with Mr. O Neill's article?. I know if it has Jaime O'Neill's name attached to the article let the name calling games begin. Grow up.
