"Without illegal immigrants, business executives in industries like construction, agriculture and restaurants say they would be forced to radically change how they operate."
How sad they would have to pay a living wage, pay taxes and follow all of the other laws that legitimate business, honest Americans and immigrants follow.

Full of shit, those scum bags , running a legal business is , pay taxes, pay insurance, abide by the laws and have a great product/service.
Industries that say they need illegals , need crake to live.
Those scumb bags are looking to profit off the american tax payers and just down right greedy, americans need to refuse using undocumented workers, and companies that use them, report their ass and companies .

LAPD makes it easier for illegal immigrant drivers

Los Angeles Police Chief Charlie Beck announced Monday that his officers will no longer automatically tow the cars of illegal immigrant drivers stopped at sobriety checkpoints.

The policy comes in response to the concerns of Latino civil rights activists, who say impound fees are unfairly costing otherwise hardworking illegal immigrant drivers hundreds of dollars.

Los Angeles Police Chief Charlie Beck said his department impounds about 1,000 cars a year from illegal immigrants at sobriety checkpoints – not because they’re drunk but because they don’t have driver’s licenses.

“As we reviewed our impound policies it became obvious to me that they had disparate impact on individuals based on something that was entirely out of their control," Beck said

So the oath of office to "uphold the law" means what?

So why not just skip getting a license and just insist that you're an illegal alien from Mexico?

Skip paying for insurance too. If you get in an accident tell the other guy, "No hay problema. Me llamo Afonso Bedoyo Gonzalez. Yo vivo en rancho grande. Adios."

Good!

ICE needs to harass the hell out of employers that hire illegals, and harass the hell out of illegals.

And ICE also needs to go after the unions that harbor the illegals.

Exactly. Change, that's the point. They should change. Business loves it. They bring in the employees, pay them nothing, and then turn them loose on our communities. Their cheap labor becomes our broken schools and bankrupt hospitals. Send the bill to these guys for the anchor babies their workers are dropping and to keep the schools going and watch them get a lot less interested in peasant labor.

Just like a landfill, the bosses make sure that's on the other side of town. But change who pays for and lives in the barrio and watch the bosses, and the WSJ, change their minds.

Audits are only a begining. These audits have to followed with consequences for hiring illegal aliens. If the business owners profit so much from these illegal aliens how about both, the illegal aliens AND the business owners, spend some quailty time together sharing the same jail cell, the same food and the same latrine for the same amount of time. That may provide an impact!
Not only do the illegal aliens need to pay restitution - the business owners who provide jobs in an illegal manner need to pay a penalty and restitution. The business owners know full well what is going on and what they are doing is illegal.

How about fining businesses $5000 for every month they employ each illegal. Pass a law that after June 1st 2011 they will have to pay it back to that date when they are audited. I'll bet by June 1st there won't be many illegals working.
There is a two edged sword to this, once the cheap labor is gone businesses will have to pay hire wages, due to a much smaller worker pool. That could drive even more jobs to 3rd world countries. If the government doesn't put into place some better job protection, things could get much worse. I think they need a law that says if you move production of a product out of the country you can't ship it back. If you can't support the workers of this country your product isn't welcome here. We might get some of the manufacturing jobs back that went to Mexico and China.

lmfao...craftsman my a$$...learning by the monkey see monkey do method does NOT make one a craftsman...being an illegal alien means you can't get a master electrician license. I wouldn't hire you to put the covers on electrical outlets let alone wire my house..it would be a fire hazard! Keep repeating your bovine excrement juanita it's all you've got..get out of mommy's basement once in a while...the fresh air will do ya good...
