Let the mudslinging begin. I can't wait for Norm to bring his family back together for another phony-baloney photoshoot. He'd be wise not to attack Al on character because his reputation at home and in D.C. makes New York governors blush. For the past six years he's echoed Bush's edicts in favor of the rich on every issue. And he's acted as his attack dog when called upon. Pack you bags, son. It's time to fall into the cushy job you've lined up with Guiliani's law firm. You're day is done.

EVERYTHING about Angry Al Franken is phoney. He's NOT a Minnesotan, he's NOT a serious candidate, and he's NOT good for Minnesota. He would be a bigger embarrassment than Ventura ever thought about being.

Wasn't Ventura enough? Do we really need another clown to represent us?
Franken is nothing but an ego with money from both coasts to play with, I don't want my senate seat to be his toy.
Note to Al: go back and try to make your short lived radio program relevant.

After Wellstone and Ventura I hope Minnesotan's have learned not to embarrass themselves by electing flakes such as Franken. Yes, Wellstone was an embarassment, at least much of the country viewed him that way. The clown of the Senate

Al Franken is the perfect candidate for the democrat party. The whole party is a bad joke and even has a jackass for their official logo.

All you Wellstone rippers are probably "family-values" types. Paul had one wife he loved dearly and was faithful to. More than you can say about Norm. He is as phoney as $3 bill but because Franken is so far left we are stuck with him for 6 more years.

Not hard to decide. Norm Coleman is a proven leader and the Al Franken is a comedian (although not very funny) and a complete joke.

I asked MR Wellstone how many MPG his green bus got, the ultimate SUV, but he wouldn’t answer. I only wish he would have stayed alive a few more weeks to get his butt handed to him at the polls.

When we have been represented by such despicable people as Shorty Wellstone and Vain Ventura, isn't it time for the class that Norm brings? Franken is an embarassment to humanity!!

Who's from Minnesota, certainly not Normy (Al was born in St. Louis Park). He was born and raised in New York, where he was a war protester hippy, preaching on the street corner. A Democrat for many years until he couldn't get his way. He was Bushy's lapdog for years, voting 99% with Bush for years. Now that the Republicans are having problems, I expect any day, he will become a Democrat again.

How many years has each been in MN? Surely you can google them and figure it out and report back?

When he was booed while giving a speech at a DFL convention because he wasn't pro-abortion, he and his wife decided that the democrat party had become intolerant of people with pro-life beliefs. He left the party. The democrat party is a party of fascists who boo and attack their own if they dare believe in protecting the unborn.

How come so many states have to resort to carpet bag politicians to vie for U.S. Senator? Hillary never was a New York resident until she started her run for senate. It's perfectly legal to do this, but it makes me wonder about the local talent pool of candidates when only outsiders can become U.S. Senators.
Didn't Al come to blows with a national radio host at one time?
