Leaders say Trump presidency is at odds with MLK's legacy

There are 429 comments on the Boston.com story from Jan 13, 2018, titled Leaders say Trump presidency is at odds with MLK's legacy. In it, Boston.com reports that:

The first Martin Luther King Jr. holiday of Donald Trump's presidency is taking place amid a racial firestorm of Trump's own making. In the same week that he honored King by making a national park out of the ground where King was born and preached until his death, Trump denigrated practically the entire African diaspora, and left many Americans headed into the civil rights icon's birthday convinced that the leader of their country is a racist.

Leaders of what? The same opposition leaders who were left in a trail of dust when Trump won the election? Just what is it those who denigrate Trump racially want? They're simply crying because we don't have a Black president dreaming up financial and social entitlements for their specific racial group.

The MLK "legacy" has been PROVEN to have been a MANUFACTURED FAIRY TALE. Recent revelations in the JFK files have revealed what many have known for years. MLK was a sexual deviant, who abused women physically, he was a PROVEN plagiarizer and an avowed COMMUNIST. MLK would often engage in orgies with White prostitutes.

LEGACY? Who have got to be kidding me.

I can't help it. Most of you Trump acolytes are such schmucks! You can't see what's happening right in front of your noses. Trump is a psychotic simpleton, and you guys just keep lapping it up. Whether you know it or not, you are harming our country.

MLK didn't believe in abortion, because it is black genocide, he was a Baptist Minister that that would have been against Gay Marriage, and Gay rights, he wouldn't recognize the dirty Democrats of today. If he did it would be to shame them. They use MLK like their beacon, but he would have hated them for what they have become.

The Democrats cannot stand it, because the President is probably the most Conservative, pro Constitution President we have ever had. Did you see where Kentucky is going to make the able bodied work for their Medicaid? Yep, the lazy, shiftless creatures will have to work 80 hours a month for healthcare. Don't you wish that is all the taxpayer that pays for their healthcare had to work? 20 hours a week, and they still don't want to get off the sofa, and leave their beer behind.

Okay, MLK was not a perfect man, but who really is?

Some people are celebrating the holiday because who they believe he represents, not who he actually was. People are imperfect. The only person that had no faults at all was Jesus Christ. Of course, MLK beat women and used their bodies for his benefit. Men behaved very badly in the 1960's and women were basically used as sexual objects by men. Look how Marilyn Monroe's image was used to degrade her. It is up to woman to put a stop to sexual harassment by demanding equal rights and equal pay as men. Women should be the ones speaking out against the actions that KING lived. He was a typical hypocrite. He wanted all MEN created equal, but somehow left out women. Of course, he deserves criticism, but because he was black, that is simply politically incorrect.

Trump is doing more for Blacks, especially Black youth, than Obama, or any Democrat has ever done. Obama and other Democrat leaders like to keep Blacks angry and unemployed. Trump reminds them they are better than that.

That is correct. A record high employment rate for blacks under Donald Trump. And yet, the liberal Democrats want us to believe we are in the great depression because of Trump's polices. They rather tell brainless Negroes that Trump wants them dead. Keep em' angry to get their votes.

People can see what is happening in their own neighborhoods in Democrat cities. President Trump got votes from all races, and creeds. He is helping all people to get jobs, have pride in themselves, be real Americans, nor drags on society. Soon the working people can get out of the ghettos, away from the gun fire killing their children. I am proud of them.

Regardless of the many dismissive arguments, MLK was only a man, not a prophet and not worthy of status that is little more than marketing by those who exploit his legacy for profit and rationalize
their greed as being part of "the mission".

What Trump may have said is not explicitly racist. It just targets countries that are economically in perpetual desperation AND which also usually are represented by a large Black population. If that is a problem for Blacks, oh well! They aren't Americans. Their situation is not what it is because of Americans.

The Republican party is historically the party that worked to free the slaves. What it has become could easily be described as being the result of cynical manipulation of an easily manipulated minority that wants something for nothing. It doesn't matter what other generations did. If you expect to negotiate, put the cards where everyone can see them. The people who you may be expecting to give up a lot may want to understand if an unpleasant race hatred is at the heart of your own motives.

MLK knew this. He would probably have fallen by his own death wish if he stayed trapped between what seemed right to Black America and what seemed right to White America. Instead, we have every person of ambition acting out his unclear vision and coming to the same conclusion....only now it's the White matriarchy who will never pay up on their promises.

Taking from the White middle class is fine with them, but sharing their opportunities with an untouchable? Allowing access to God Emperor Hillary? Never.

Remember Obama and the deadbeat dads. Remember the police emptying clips into a Black man's back rather than catch the overweight old man. The matriarchy patronizes but does not respect the minority. Trump is rude and tends to ignore those little invisible fences that zap you when you cross over the boundary of your master's yard....and the liberals are counting on YOU to be angry at Trump because he's laughing at you and doesn't even know that you are wearing a torture collar.

This is just another attempt to shake the tree for useful idiots before the civil war begins.
