Donald Trump and Republican leaders scramble for migrant children solution

There are 57 comments on the Streatham Guardian story from Jun 20, 2018, titled Donald Trump and Republican leaders scramble for migrant children solution. In it, Streatham Guardian reports that:

US president Donald Trump has told House Republicans he is "1,000 per cent" behind their rival immigration bills, providing little clear direction for party leaders searching for a way to defuse the escalating controversy over family separations at the southern border. Republican politicians, increasingly fearful of a voter backlash in November, met with Mr Trump for about an hour at the Capitol to try to find a solution that both holds to Mr Trump's hard-line immigration policy and ends the practice of taking migrant children from parents charged with entering the country illegally.

Trump and his followers are always working to fix things Obama screwed up. Pelosi and and Schumer wont work with Trump. Yet criticize Trump for not invoking Executive Privilege. Which of course they would criticize Trump for exercising. Go Trump!

It's pathetic that Democrats are wailing about Immigrant children when the present U.S. Immigration Program of separating children from "criminal" illegal parents has been in effect for 60 years. Would you suggest denying children entry and sending them back into the wilderness of deprivation? Our present (Trump's) program is to grant the separated children a new life in the U.S. Are you opposed to that? I think not.

Looking at the history of the Trumpster and supporting him is nothing short of nihilism. Donald Trump got to this, once unthinkable, preposterous height is a story of hustling and hucksterism, of show business and showmanship, of braggadocio and celebrity, of self-aggrandizement and fantasies, of bending the truth and demonizing the enemy. But mostly, it is a story of monumental ego undented by self-doubt. Trumpís swagger, eager to establish himself as the alpha male in the room, is said to be matched only by his lack of introspection. He is a world-class narcissist. The Donald believes that he is this incredibly great person and if you donít recognize that, youíre a loser. The fact is, Trump failed at every business attempt except for real estate. It would be no great surprise if he ordered his face carved into Mount Rushmore alongside Washington, Jefferson, Roosevelt and Lincoln. Donald Trump was a huckster, a showman and a liar when he was a democrat and now republicans have embraced him Ė go figure.

This November, Americans will go to the polls thinking "Interesting experiment, punking the Fed, but it's time to dispose of the Trump Trash before it does lasting damage".

Unfortunately I have not met any Trump supporter who regrets voting for him.

Our country is divided between the folks who love Trump because of his bad behavior and those who didnít vote for Trump for such obvious common sense reasons.

The folks who voted for Trump havenít gone anywhere.

So how will anything change in November?

How many billion dollars do you have, from your business ventures? Jealous much?
As far as Trump switching parties, the Democrats have become a useless party, and Trump grew up.
The greatest president of our time, Ronald Reagan, did the same thing.
Itís little surprise that these two are the best presidents we have had in 40 to 50 years.
They learned from the error of their ways.

Trump would have made more money and created more jobs if heíd just invested his inheritance and left it to mature quietly.

Instead he needed to showboat, swindle, scam, sue and harass the public with his useless clubs, casinos and several bankruptcies.

The 1986 Amnesty was a good idea, and he was smart to reverse his failed tax cuts, but Reagan comes in just behind Obama in the ďbest presidentsĒ list, sorry.

Those failed tax cuts are what made him one of the greatest presidents of all time.

Meanwhile, these oh so compassionate Democrats want children of child abusers shoved back onto the streets to crap their pants, or in the gutter, instead of having bathroom facilities. Democrats got the headlines, along with a few hysterical ladies. That's all that counts. They take better food, better clothes, better bedding, better shelter, better hygiene away from the children and actually believe they are succeeding in morality and compassion.
