Romney has nothing to offer but his ugly, sociopathic platitudes. Only a fool could vote for him.(I guess that means he has your vote.)

Actually Obama has a long and impressive list of accomplishments. I'm sure you won't agreee about their value. For a list, I've listed them so many times on Topix, I'll refer you to THE Google.

Much of your complaints can be traced to the previous administration. It was easier to dig the hole than to climb out of it. The options,as I see them, are to choose Obama, who has to buck a strong Republican headwind, or to choose Romney, who wants to drag us back to the same policies that got this country into a mess in the first place. I'll take my chances with Obama.

Ironically, when you compare what Romney is saying now to what Obama said in 2008, they're pretty much in line.

with congressional support, he might just pull it off though.

Obama's pathetic.
Bill Clinton: "Obama is an Incompetent Amateur."
I think he could have achieved this stuff with congressional support, what he got was elected officials saying that their one and only goal was to make him a one-term president.
but at what cost?
multiple sources have verified and proven that he has actually spent LESS than the last 4 presidents.
perhaps if congress had loosened the purse strings for him the way they were loosened for former presidents the economy would be in better shape than it is today.
.
.
as for issues that (IMHO) are moot to the average citizen, that seems to be the media bringing that business up.
whether or not a church owned institution has to offer it's employees coverage that includes contraception doesn't affect me at all, but Dolan feels the need to spew his doctrine on the nation.
and what does it REALLY matter if gay people can get married? what difference does it make to straight private citizens? are people lying awake at night fretting over gay sex? if they are then they need to get a life, it's none of their business, and not their place to judge.

‘Fast and Furious’ scandal has Obama administration in full cover-up mode
09/12/2011
The more we learn about the “Fast and Furious” scandal — in which the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATFE) illegally facilitated the transfer of thousands of guns to violent drug cartels in Mexico — the more apparent it is that we are witnessing a large-scale cover-up of epic proportions.
In fact, it’s getting difficult to keep up with all of the shuffling of key agency personnel who were involved in the deadly scandal. Here is a brief run-down of what transpired over the past two weeks:
* BATFE director Kenneth Melson was reassigned by Attorney General Eric Holder’s Justice Department to a new senior advisor role at the agency’s headquarters in Washington.
* Dennis Burke, the U.S. attorney for the District of Arizona, resigned from his post.
* Thanks to the tenacious investigations being led by House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-CA) and Senate Judiciary Committee ranking member Chuck Grassley (R-IA), it is now apparent that the lead prosecutor in the U.S. attorney’s office in Arizona, Emory Hurley, initially sought to cover up the fact that at least two illegal “Fast and Furious” guns were found at the murder scene of U.S. Border Patrol agent Brian Terry. The Justice Department recently transferred Hurley out of its criminal division to its civil division.
* We now know that White House officials knew more about the deadly “Fast and Furious” operation than they previously disclosed. Three White House officials — Kevin O’Reilly, Dan Restrepo and Greg Gatjanis — all received back-channel communications about “Fast and Furious” from BATFE’s then-special agent in charge of Phoenix, Bill Newell. Newell, as you might recall, was recently reassigned to a new job at Justice Department headquarters.
The Obama administration’s continued stonewalling and seemingly orchestrated cover-up of the “Fast and Furious” scandal is only adding to the overall tragedy of this situation.

Arnie Duncan was Obamas BEST appointment. Tragic that the never ending GREED of the Teachers Unions forced Obama to put a muzzle on Duncan's plans to improve our public schools.

Union ownership of the Democratic Party is enough reason for Americans to dump ALL the union operatives come November. Or, just let our kids play second fiddle to the Unions.

You do realize that Arne Duncan was the Superintendent of Schools for the Chicago school district that Obamas lived in. And the Obamas bypassed their neighborhood public schools and had their children attend a charter school.

When Obama became President, he took away the ability of Washington, DC parents to use vouchers and place their children in schools other than the failing DC public schools.

Obama: It's okay for me, but not for you.

And it still galls me that the American taxpayer had to pay for 25 TWENTY FIVE secret service agents to accompany Malia Obama on her Spring Break Vacation to Mexico.

Why didn't Malia do a community service project here in the USA on her Spring Break?

Malia getting to be like her Mother-let's vacation on the public's dime.

The only people that don't care about it are the die hard liberals that would not hold Obama or the DOJ accountable for anything but that which Obama takes credit for himself. Everyone else thinks it's a pretty important issue. Perhaps you should not be so quick to think so many are like yourself. Less American's consider themselves liberals while more American's consider themselves to be conservative. So more people think that F&F is an important issue and want answers, and are curious as to why there is so much cover up going on. Just because you don't see something covered on the lame stream media doen't mean that people don't know about it or care about it.

ROMNEY: Students participating in the Washington, D.C., Opportunity Scholarship program made gains and "after three months, students could already read at levels 19 months ahead of their public-school peers."

THE FACTS: Romney's description of the success of the school voucher program, which helps low-income children in the nation's capital attend private elementary, middle and high schools, doesn't match up with Department of Education evaluations.

A 2010 evaluation of the program found that on average, after four years, reading and math test scores of opportunity scholarship students were statistically similar to those not offered scholarships.

Anything would be better than what we have now. Union ownership of the Dem Party kills Publ Schools accountability and contributes to the extinction level Pension legacy which will bring American down. It is like screwing our own kids twice. Bad education then bone crushing pension debt. We must elect Romney. We have no choice.
