Nothing but another dead democrat(socialist) as far as I'm concerned.
Although he may have been saved,(I hope so, but there's no indication of that since the only 'religious' mention was one of reincarnation) I doubt it.
Fighting all his life against morality, he is facing the same Final Judgemet we all will face, and there will be no arguing his case, just the facts.
So he believes in reincarnation, huh? I wonder how that's working out for him right now.

It is quite obvious that N. Mailer was not anyone's fool, and I am glad of that. He joins the ranks of the this country's greatest writers and the regret is that I have not read not more than two of his books.
