As the writer put it Diana Ross lives for the stage. She enjoys the crowd and the stage is where she commands attention and gets it. Despite the many controversial books that have been written about Miss Ross including the failed Supremes Tour, the Dreamgirls Musical and Movie, as well as the Mary Wilson thorn in Miss Ross's side, Diana has shown that the stage and all it's glamour keeps her going. Despite what heartache and hurt she may be feeling off stage Miss Ross comes to woo the crowd.

One thing about the incomparable Miss Ross is that she is a true performer. Despite her diva-like ways, she has earned every bit of what she's received. She has raised a beautiful Family, Rhonda, Tracee, Chudney, Ross and Evan and still managed to perform at the age of 65. Now that's longevity at it's best.

I have much respect for Miss Ross to still be performing songs that have put her and the Supremens on the map. Without she and Mary singing and continuing the Legacy of Motowns most popular girl group none of the singers and performers today would have so much insight into longevity...

Say what you want about Disns, that she's a bitch, a diva, hateful and spiteful, but one things she is and that is a consumate performer/actress/designer/ent ertainer extraordinare....add mother, trendsetter, writer, director and business woman and you can call her what you want....No one can top her or stop her. She's proved this over the years and when the winds and storms came in her 1983 Central Park Concert and she braved the storms only one thing came to my mind and that was "Ain't No Mountain High Enough"....

Lifelong fan of Diana Ross here, and have nothing to say about her, per se - but the reviewer's dramatic, over-use of metaphors and adjectives was a little hard to stomach.
