Pee-yew! This film is a real stinker and all the adult characters are miscast. The director should have shuffled scripts and at least let Parker read the prof, Hayden-Church the ER character, and Quaid the driver. Even that would have been better, but it wouldn't have helped the dialogue. What is it with Hollywood scripts lately? No one seems to have an ear for how people talk, feel, or express themselves. Special effects will only go so far, someone HAS to get some good writers into the business soon.
