You've got to see this cat's web site, DamnationOfAdamBlessing.net He's a musician of note from Cleveland, living in Delaware. He says, "I married a woman from Delaware and got trapped here. I mean that quite litterally!"
Check out the mp3 "Abyss of Infamy" written about Steven Pennell.

Ray Benich was a political priosner in Delaware for 18 years, because of the "influnce" of a certain very wealthy Delaware governor. For what he did,(shot his brother-in-law in the ass) most people would have served 18 months. I know, I'm a lawyer with the AG's office. I just read an excerpt from his book titled "Illusions of Justice" at his web site, fasinating, would make a great movie, wake up Hollywood!

From a touring professional musician, opening for Eric Clapton, Alice Cooper, Janis Joplin and a lot of other big bands of the day, to serving 18 years in prison in Delaware, and now a college lecturer, this is a really inspiring story.

I know for a fact that Ray Benich "discovered" Pat Benatar's absolutely incredible lead guitarist,(and husband) Neil Giraldo. This happened back in Cleveland (1974),long before Ray went to prison.("Punk Loose In Gangland" @ youtube) Oh,by the way it was Pierre S. du Pont of the incredibly powerful, and rather "creepy" du Pont family, of Delaware that used his influence to keep Ray in prison for some 18 years. Check out Ray's book "Illusions of Justice", this cat's a real inspiration, and he still rocks to this day...
