I'm going to be investigating the phenomena..i was wondering does anyone have any interesting views or feelings towards this?

For example: have you ever felt like you have been induced to deja vu? If so, how did you feel, what sensations and smells did you feel?

Any specific times you felt deja vu was induced? I'd love people to reply. The replies will not go towards any research and everything is confidential, of course.

Many Thanks,

I have deja vu all the time, and everything is so realistic. ive actually posted another recent comment about this, and in that comment i said that i believe everyone is clairvoyant to a degree, and deja vu is just a little of it seeping out. i also said that i would be willing to bet that if someone got a group of people who had frequent deja vu's together and had them go about life normally and whenever they were having a deja vu they would try to "remember" that "memory" and would, in time, become very clairvoyant.

Science is wrong about Daja Vu. Some scientist think that it is some sort of memory disfunction. Or that is is related to epilepsy.
I have concluded that all people have what I call "pin spots" in their lives. These are markers in timed events that are pre determined. Once we reach these marked spots we have a choice to change it's course . At least you know you are on the right track
when they occur. I tend to just continue on and glide through to the next without making any drastic change. Daja Vu is simply reaching the point in the future that you have already seen or thought about in the past, again called a "pin spot". We have all been here before, time does not end, it just starts over at the beginning. Hopefully I will make all the right choices. ALL Science will lead to faith. So stop studying rocks and just admire them for what they really are... Beatyful!

Deja Vu. When we have a vision or glimps about a future event that has not yet
Happened. Then In the future when the actual event occurs our mind remembers the prediction from the past and at this split second when the 2 are combined , ladies and gentlemen.... Daja Vu happens!

Very striking claims/opinions!

I like the idea of pin-spots, that seems viable in most situations. But, recently i think i have thought of deja vu being intrinsically linked to autobiographical memory. For example, a certain smell (olfactory) may take us "back" to a specific moment in time during our childhood. In which case, would this not assume that deja vu is almost a separate entity which does NOT involved memory of any kind? After all, other facets e.g. smell/events may re-kindle a certain emotion we felt before.

All of the comments are hugely appreciated, thank you both!

As a child i used to have Deja vu experiences regularly. It is mostly in dreams that i had towards early morning. I used to see what would happen in school & life. And exactly the same would happen. Sometimes it would be the same situation & i would work hard so that the result of the conversation would be better. Also I have seen places & exact things that I could never normally come across. Then coincidentally I land up at a place in the exact situation & see all those new things as I saw in my dream. Now a days it has reduced. I actually don't wanna see the future. Coz it may not always be good. And i don't wanna blame myself. coz i see it. And then it happens.

I had a very unique deja vu experience one while camping. I was walking down a path with my brother and there were 2 kids approaching in the opposite direction. I looked at them as we passed them walking and had an overwhelming deja vu onset. I stopped about 10 feet after we passed them and my brother did also. I then turned and found that the 2 kids also stopped. They stared at us both for several seconds, before one of them said , I know you from somewhere! Although we never met these people before in our lives! We hung around with them for a little while and went swimming in the lake at Lakes Park. During a conversation one of the boys asked. Do we know you from somewhere? It feels like we have met before. It the occurred to me that they also had deja vu at the exact same moment as I did. My brother said he felt like he knew who they were ! However he did not have a deja vu feeling at the time.
