David Carradine, 72, Found Dead in Thailand of Apparent Suicide

Actor David Carradine has been found dead in Bangkok, Thailand. He was 72, and a member of a Hollywood acting family that included his father, character actor John Carradine, and half-brothers Keith and Robert Carradine. He was also the uncle of Ever Carradine and Martha Plimpton.

Plus-isnt martial arts all about discipline? Wouldnt suicide go against every discipline that he had learned?

harikari a ritual form of seppuku (Japanese for suicide) is very painful and only done if a warrior has done a crime, or failed his Master. It involves plunging a knife into your abdomen then pulling the knife horizontally, slicing your intestines open and dying slowly from blood loss. So I can forgive him for choosing an easier way.

a very good, if under utilized actor. the Kung Fu series was the template for an entire genre of films and TV. his portrayal of Woody Guthrie in "Glory Road" was deserving of an Oscar. sadly he will Be missed. rest easy Sonny Jim.
