A prediction here... Dr. Baden, the "village idiot of forensic pathology", will say that the death appears to be a homicide. Why will he do so? because he is being paid by the family or the media.
Ding Ding Ding! We have a winner. Mr. Concerned has hit it right on the sweet spot. I bet Baden didn't even look at the body. He probably just read from a prepared statement.

Nice call.

Respectfully I'm not so sure. For one isn't the insurance pay out just a part of a much larger estate? With or without the insurance claim isn't DC's estate still many millions of dollars?

And why bind your hands and chose the closet? It's a big room in a nice hotel. Why not choose the bathroom and use the door or shower curtain rod? Probably better light and you get the mirrors.

And why the curtain pull lines? If this was really his kink then how hard is it to bring your own nice soft rope, silk ties, rubber straps or whatever in your luggage? Or use the soft belt from the hotel bath robe?

He's DC right? Wouldn't you just call down to the desk and have them send up some quality rope?

No way this is a suicide? And I have serious doubts that it is as simple as a kinky solo sex act going bad. Seems to me that the crime scene, the hotel room, the knot pattern, should have all the evidence and facts to make a definitive decesions in regards to his death???

It was suicide insofar as repeatedly performing a risky sex act is tempting suicide. There clearly was sexual motivation. Did you see the report from California that he was a regular customer at a sex shop and just bought bondage equipment and fishnet stockings and 2 videos right before his trip to Thailand? And two ex-wives testified that he liked to tie himself up and tried to involve one in his asphyxiation game? He was skilled at knots and could tei himself up, using feet to pull the noose and hands knot tight.

Why not use the curtain rod? Check the one in your bathroom: would it hold a 170 lb.(guess) man? A strong rope was needed, not a bathrobe tie: the idea is to be helpless.

The way he died was his sexual M.O. He probably didn't intend to die but obviously was willing to risk death for a better orgasm. Did the reports say that he achieved that?(Seemingly lewd question, I know, but it would be evidence against murder or suicide if he did).

Daily Horoscope for December 28

Taurus

If you've been neglecting that special someone in your life over the past few days because you've been so busy with the festivities, try to make up for it today. Maybe you could have some time alone with them, or perhaps you simply need to remind them how much you love them. Don't be afraid to open up your heart to them, and to let them do the same to you.
