Small world....

I love Confederate Railroad's work, even caught them in concert in Northern California.

I find it amazing Nichols was that close.

I LOVE that band! When they play Waylon Jennings, I get goosebumps and want to go honkey-tonkin, play some pool, and drink some cold ones! I hope they continue playing in his honor. Bless his heart.

Mr Nichol's played in my church band also at Westridge Baptist church in Dallas. He was a very wonderfull musician. It was sad to find out last week that he had died.He had cancer,I had just found out recently. He was a very beloved member of our church. We have quite a few folks who live around here who have came to our church.Third Day has visited us a lot,And joined in on the service,And also helped out with special events there.Especially at Christmas time. You should visit our church some time. Our music is the best.

Our Pastor talked today about Mr.Nichols funeral service and how much he was touched by the ministry of Gates Nichols. He had left Confederate Railroad at the end of December,And retired. Then he put alot of work into his church ministry. And he brought a lot to our church music program.Everyone loved the sweet spirit that he brought into our service's.He was not there very long before he was digniosed with pancreatic cancer. And he only lived six weeks with cancer. His legacy will live on at our church,Because he left an awesome impact on those whose lives were touched by his music and his love of God.We became better by knowing this great man.
