People still go to libraries for books ? I thought it was just homeless people looking at porn on computers.

Prob greasing the skids for more sprawl ala Coran Capshaw to clutter up what's left of Crozet (such as Barnes Lumber) with beaucoup apartments and other BS crammed in like sardines.

Oh well at least with this new "cooling center" maybe some of the vagrants will also sprawl out from the Downtown Mall.

When was the last time you gave your money way you bum?

If they just called it what it really is (Build Crozet Homeless Shelter) I would donate. But I don't like donating to something under false pretenses.

Every time I walk by the Cville downtown library I seriously feel like I am going to be shot/mugged on the steps.

To all you nay-sayers, get a life. Yes, they could just give the money (and write it off) and call it a day. A matching grant scenario will always help gain more contributions by getting others to feel like it they give $100, they are actually giving $200. It is a win-win.
However, I think this library is a waste. The JMRL has difficulty making their budget each each without this building, now they have another building STAFF, upkeep, heat/cool and keep the lights on. My question is where is that money coming from?

It's true. Started carrying concealled a while back. I don't think I'll ever have to draw my piece because its like the predator senses I'm not the prey. Somehow miscreants have a sixth sense not to pick the wrong guy as a victim lest they be dispatched like that groundhog that tried to make camp at my horse farm.

Why does everything this band does have to be news in Charlottesville. Most of them don't even live in this area.

I may not always agree with how they donate, but they have been incredibly generous. It's good stuff.

I agree, sometimes I just get so sick of hearing about them. My bad.
