what a real shame. Danny lost a lot of respect from a lot of people with his rantings on the View. It appears he is just another hollywood "star" who thinks he knows more than the people running the country. He uses his availability to the media to slam our President and make political statements. Too bad Danny, you lost this fan. Not that you care. You are so much above the average man, and so much smarter than we are, you don't need us.

Just another shining example of Hollywood liberals-Done while promoting a children's Christmas movie too--I think someone should start a boycott of the movie-It sounds pretty trite, overworked and stupid from what I've heard anyways - Also, how long is it going to take Rosie to totally tank "the view"? I really can't stand the show or her.

When is everyone going to realize these people in Hollywood are just that. They are people like you and me.
We all have our ideas on how the world should be run. They are actors. We pay to see them act, sing or whatever else they do. They eat sleep and do the same things we do.Opinions are like brains, we all have them. Some use them alittle more than others.I could care less what an actor thinks or does'nt. I dont pay to see or hear them think.Acting it's all an act.Without a script do we care?

I'm with Sue. We need to start standing up like we did with OJ last week. Things are getting more & more out of control and the reason why is we don't stop issues like gay marriage - we say "I don't care" but what that really does is open the doors even wider for everything imaginable to be tolerated. What's next? Humans marrying their dogs maybe? Hollywood and alot of California has lost its way. Oh, and I'm a little tired of Hollywood producers & people making commercials forcing gays on us the way they do. Putting these situations into new programs like Brothers & Sisters for instance, do NOT get us used to the idea so that we will come around to accept it. It will never be acceptable because homosexuality is evil and we are told in the Bible that we should hate evil. And the more the Hollywood stars open their mouths & bash Bush, well, I just add them to my list of movies I will never go see them in. They are digging their own graves.

Well put.
Many parallels can be drawn between the behavior of Hollywood's best and the publicans during the decline of the Roman empire.
I look at it this way... they aren't sleeping in my bed, nor are they buying my groceries so what they do outside of the entertainment I pay for is of no consequence at all. They won't influence my thinking or my voting.
Finally... everyone has the right to go to Hell in the manner of their own choosing.

Great show Danny. I admire your courage to say the truth. I also respect your Constitutionally GUARANTEED RIGHT TO SPEECH. And I agree with your perceptions and opinions.
So far as the one he gently expressed his opinion about, THAT guy is an admitted drug addict and drunk, and convicted person as well. The internet has many videos of him drinking, and nasty gesturing. And he is after all, far from perfect no matter how the imperfect GOP or evangelicals paint him. Remember innocent people are being slaughtered over there every day, for a lie.

That's right - DD is courage personified. I'd like to hear more about the "perceptions" and "opinions" he expressed on The View. I have to admist that, to me, he just appeared incoherent and malicious. Or are these qualities we're supposed to admire?
As for free speech - yes, he has that, alright. Too bad he doesn't choose to exercise it in a mature and coherent way instead of presenting himself in the role of buffoon. What an example of a fine American actor. yikes!

There's nothing positive about being on national TV drunk promoting a children’s movie.

OJ Simpson in same context as Gay Unions??!! You sound a wee bit 'homo-phobic'... And while you are mis-interpreting the Bible, maybe you should look up:'Judge not, lest ye be judged'...

"Baba Wawa has already said that she loves Danny and will have him back on the show again. It seems only Star Jones and Kathy Griffin know how to burn down the Walters bridge." - from http://blog.meevee.com/my_weblog/2006/11/dann...
Do you really think Barbara would have him back on? I think she was just trying to make peace.

I can't believe we're all throwing such a fit over the word "numbnuts". NUMBNUTS! That's not even a bad word! Get the hell over yourselves. There is plenty to be frustrated about with flaky liberal weirdos pretending they're righteous, but THIS IS NOT AN EXAMPLE OF THAT, so quit trying so hard to make this event FIT IN your already made-up mind.

Spend a little less time griping about how much it bothers you when famous people act smarter than you, and START ACTING SMARTER THAN THEM. Whining about how smart PEOPLE YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW act sounds adolescent and insecure. Get over it. Average americans are smart. You are smart. The more you complain about "liberal elites" though, the less smart you sound, and just the more bitter and resentful.

And for that rant about homosexuality... I'm not even touching that one with a 20 foot staff blessed in holy water! There are plenty of people outside your church, in other churches, that would tell you that you have a problem.

Seriously, you guys are crying about nonsense in a way the peachy-est liberal could never DREAM of! Grow the hell up.

Welcome to America, where people are gonna act smarter than you and you just gotta get the HELL over it, then start making up your mind about the issues.

Getting offended over useless crap is liberal territory. Leave it to them and start using your goddam brains again.
