Cyd Charisse , who brought sizzle and sophistication to dance in such classic movie musicals as "Singin' in the Rain" and "Silk Stockings," died Tuesday in Los Angeles after an apparent heart attack.

I remember seeing the spy spoof Silencers and she appeared in the beginning during a very sexy dance. I, in my early teens then, thought how beautiful this woman was. I didn't tie her with those dance roles with Astaire and Kelly until later. She was fantastic.
