"Who'll Stop the Rain?" is not a song about precipitation. It was a protest song, asking who was going to put an end to the Vietnam War. "Have You Ever Seen the Rain," "Run Through the Jungle," and "Fortunate Son" are just a few other CCR classics that were about war - and stopping war.
