Despite lawsuits, bitterness and bad blood, Creedence Clearwater Revisited keeps on chooglin'. Featuring original Creedence Clearwater Revival bandmates Stu Cook and Doug "Cosmo" Clifford, the 15-year-old spinoff band opens the Marin County Fair on July 1 with the incredible catalog of Creedence hits - "Proud Mary," "Bad Moon Rising," "Lodi," ...

Without John Fogarty, this band is just a cover band. Most of the credit should go to John Fogarty for the success of CCR. He wrote the songs and music. Sour grapes for them to say that Fogarty has had only one hit since he left. He actually has put out good quality stuff. Of course, who is doing duets with Springsteen and other top stars--John Fogarty!!

Cook and Clifford as well as Tom Fogerty were always jealous of John. They are simply a bar band and just play John's songs. Conversely John has been constantly writing new songs. As for playing smaller venues I didn't know the Hollywood Bowl was small. John is doning 3 shows there July 4th weekend. On July 4th he will be palying with te L.A. Philharmonic. His most recent album Revival was nominated for a grammy. Think Springstein or Henley would ever paly with Cook or Clifford. With Billy Burnnet and Kenny Aronoff Fogerty has a much better supporting cast then he did with Creedence. In short Cook and Clifford would be unkowns without Fogerty which is what they are now. BLUE MOON SWAMP won the 1998 Grammy Award for Best Rock Album and was nominated for the 1998 Grammy for Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical. "Blueboy" was nominated for a 1998 Grammy Award for Best Male Rock Vocal Performance. Fogerty is thriving and in fact palying in increasingly bigger venues.
