Wonder what Vans thinks about this? "Zans can't dance but he'll steal your money watch him as he...."
The story is that Vans had the CCR boys sign their lives away way back before the hits. Fogerty couldn't/wouldn't perform the hits cause Vans took all the cash. Wonder when that contract expired?

Must be Vans's reply!!!!Too bad, fool, most of us who know John know him to be just the opposite of your description but knock yourself out with your character assassinations.

I saw him at Verizon this summer and loved the concert. The man played what seemed like all of his hits, distant past, past and present. The level of energy was incredible and in the Murat venue should be an even better experience.

Is Fogerty living in Indiana now? I know his wife is from here, but I thought they were still living on the west coast. The Fogerty/Mellencamp concert in June 2005 at Deer Creek (for those of us who are nostalgic) rocked!

Who gives a rats' ass about John Fartery?

And how the hell can they justify these asinine ticket prices? Ticket prices should be around $8.00 like they used to be. Led Zeppelin 1977 Greenboro coliseum, 20.00.

Do these clowns today think they are worth more than Zep?

Best news ever. I saw him with Mellencamp at Verizon a couple years back and they tore it up. Fogerty at the Murat will be awesome. And a new album tomorrow on top of that, rock on!

Your $20 Lez Zep ticket from 1977 cost you $68.62 adjusted for inflation.

Wrong! Their final tour was in 1977. They were not touring in 1978. Kiss tickets went for that. Not Led Zeppelin.

You do give a damn what he thinks, you replied back to him.

As for the concert, I'm interested in going. Some of us guys like musicians who can actually play an instrument. The lip synching/shake your booty younger generation just won't cut it. Can you see Beyonce or Spears out on the road in their 50's and 60's...good gawd!
