I don't think the club should be held responsible for the actions of people who chose to engage in criminal activity however if this club is catering to younger African Americans then let's be real we know he has to have extra security and this is coming from Black citizen of Richmond. I hate to say it but you seem to run into this problem with Black establishments here in Richmond. I don't blame the particular establishment; I blame those who chose to act in a reckless manner. I don't want to put a blanket statement out that says I think this is true of all young African American people here in Richmond but obviously it applies to some. Most young people just want to go out with their friends and have a good time and call it a night then you have others who leave the house or streets with weapons and their intentions are not positive.

I am sorry but look at what you are saying? It is not a fact that fighting and shooting goes on at every club, especially shooting. I think you maybe meant to say the clubs you or your friends/assocaites frequent fighting and shooting occurs. I've gone to places where the majority of patrons were Black and there was not any fighting or shooting. You paint a picture of fighting and shooting being the norm and that surely is not the case.

If you and your friends want to see this establishment thrive then you should act like adults and leave the nonsense at home. I thought the object of going out was to enjoy you and meet new people. Don't try to say because the club is Black owned they are picking on him. There are other establishments in that area and law abiding citizens who are out minding their own business may fall random victim to some of that fighting and shooting from people come from that club. If you don't bring attention to yourself and do the right thing 9 times out of 10 you will have no issues. Don't get me wrong, sure Racism exists and it always will but wrong is wrong and there is no excuse in my opinion for wrong.

Cant we all just get along. If you want to be adult about it, stay at home.Night clubs, bars. What do you expect.Black or white doesnt matter. All they are are meat markets, brothels, drug lairs. If you feel the need to go uot and meet people, try going to church.

So we can meet more delusional folks like you? Also, don't forget those who go from the club Sat. night to church the next morning. every week. Hypocrisy as social control; doesn't work. There are aspects of 'the club' found throughout society aka 'the world' including the church. According to godly doctrine, shouldn't a church goer be in those darkest places shining their light? How's the cocoon life workin out for ya?

Life is great here for me.I was just trying to say that church is a better place.More women, easier to score on than in a club. The wine!!!Wow did i say wine. The free food.Like I stated in other forums. If you have trouble with night clubs, bars, etc.Do like we do here in the good ol south.Burn those shit holes down.No more problems. And personally I dont go to church.Or the clubs. We get all we need right in our own back yards.

In this particular case it is young African Americans as they patron this particular establishment. Sure, we all know crime is abundant and happens across all social and economic lines. I think you think I am picking on young African Americans and I am not but hey I am real as well. Like many I don't base what I say on what I read in the local newspaper, TV or Internet, I am telling you what I see first hand up close and personal. There is nothing wrong with going out to have a good time but why does violence have to happen as well. It makes no sense to me to want to do harm to anyone, let alone someone who looks like me. I don't know, maybe that's the way it was planned and many have fallen into this trap. I consider myself a Liberal but my bleeding heart is just about running dry with all of the nonsense I see. We have enough obstacles to overcome but yet many of us compound things with stupid actions.
