He tightly gripped my neck and forced my face close to his. I felt his sweet breath on my lips, the tip of my tounge. It tempted me. He spoke softly yet harshly

"Forget about her, I have only you now" He spoke.

In a wraspy voice my only reply was

"I cant"

He looked at me enraged by my answer.

"Does it matter? Does it really matter to you. If it came down to Nate and me, tell me who would you choose?" He said
"Its not the same" I pleedeD
"Explain" He growled, gripping my neck tighter, slightly tipping my neck back.
"I-" Istarted but was cut of by him placing his finger to my lips.
"Dont bother. I already know." He said

He kissed my neck gently despite his past roughness with me. Kissing every single spot my neck bared he went slow trailing kisses from my lower neck to my jaw line. I tried to keep my composure, hold control but he was so good so tempting I couldnt resist. I pulled his face to mines. His eyes danced with excitement. Without waiting for me, he grabbed the back of my head and forced out wet lips together into a passionate kiss. My hands flowing through his curly locks. But then I herd a small sound. I looked over and saw her, the women he so rightly belonged to, his lover, his friend, his everything. She glared angrily at me. I knew he'd just broken her heart, and I just engaged in an all out war. I pushed him away and wiped my mouth of the slober we just shared.

"I-"

Just then I felt it, the sharp pain in my heart, and his scream of terror.

Chapter 1
Brat

I woke up today, feeling excited as ever it was finally my 16th birthday, the best day of my life, the day I was to finally become a women in my eyes. Gain some independence and branch off into the world. It all sounded like a beautiful adventure but I knew that was the exact opposite of what it was going to be. But despit that I was going to strive for that perfection I longed for. I sat up in my bed, shaking my head wildly, running my hands through my light brown curly hair. I pushed the satin sheets off my body and hopped out of bed with a wide spread grin on my face. I went into the bathroom down tge hallway with my tooth brush, brush, and towel in hand, only to see that it was being occupied by my older cousin, currently my gardian and best friend Dawn. I sighed, even as close as we were we often faught in the morning over the bathroom.

"Dawn!!!!" I yelled banging my fist on the door. "Get out of the bathroom, I need to get dressed for School!!"

She ignored me singing to 'I hate you then I love you' by celien deion.

"Beauty queen" I seethed.

I marched back into my bedroom and put my stuff on the bed. Dawn was going to be
another half hour so maybe breakfast is a good way to start my day in the perfect way. I walked down the steps of our small New York appartment, and there stood Corbin, Dawn's cureent and longest boyfriend. We absolutely hate each other and fight almost everyday, usually over nothing but ocassionaly over something. He sat at the island in the kitchen eating a huge bowl of coci puffs. I decided I was going to ignor his usual sexist comments and mature a little.

"Heeeyyyy tiny!!" He said.

Tiny was a nickname he had given me because I was a generally small girl size wise anyway but I was far from tiny. I'm like 5'10 I'm almost taller than him!! But Im not gonna let him get to me today. I ignored him and grabbed a big bowl and my bag of fruit loops. I poured myself a big bowel and sat at the dining table.

"Why so glum?" Corbin whispered in my ear.

I shoved a big spoon into my mouth and chewed silently.

"Ohhh I get it" He teased "You think that because your 16 now your a mature little girl huh?"

I shoved another spoon into my mouth and gently closed my eyes tring to ignor Corbin to the fullest.

"Your still a brat" Corbin said

I gulped down my milk and put my bowl and spoon in the dishwasher. I started up the steps when I felt his tight grasp around my wrist. He swung me to face him.

"Little boy release me" I said kindly

Just then I knew I'd just given him what he wanted.

A wide grin formed on his face. That creep. He giggled and released me.

"You cant go two minutes withour insulting me can you?" He started.

I filded my arms over my chest turning my back to him.

"No matter how geown up you act you always resort to your childish ways" He finished.

He's truely one to talk.

"You should know" I said softly "You still act as if you were 16. What kind of grown ass man willingly fights with a 16 year old girl? Huh? Do you get your kicks out of my insulting you?" I finished

He smiled

"Sick bastard" I said

I walked up the remaining steps and Dawn walked out of the bathroom her short cropped hair glistening with water droplets.

"Get your boyfriend" I said in a low voice, just before I walked past her into tge bathroom slamming the door shut.

I started my bathwater and midway I remember that I had left my bathroom utensils in my room. I rushed back into my room only to find the 'sick bastard' sitting on my bed, his knee crossed over his leg, with a smug demenior. I grabbed my things quickly before words could be exchanged but of course some course of action was taken to delay me. He grabbed my hand

"Did I tell you your skin's really soft today? Im suprised its not scaly like always" He smiled

I tugged for tge freedom of my hand but all was lost.

"May I have my hand please?"I asked
"Must you rurion my daily festivites?" He asked
"Insulting me is your routine?" I asked almost disgusted
"Partly, and your insults are always apart of it" He said
"You need help" I said

I yanked my hand from his grasp nearly ripping my bones out of the sockets. I rushed back into the bathroom, locking the door and stripped into my birthday suit. I laid in the hot water for a minute before handling my regular buisness. I stepped out of the bathtub moments later and brushed my teeth washed my face ect. I walked back into my room with my towel wrapped securily around my body. When I opened my door Corbin was still there.

"May I help you?" I asked
"Insult please" He smiled

I growled.

"Fiesty. Its a sexier side of you" He said
"Are you honestly flirting with me?" I asked putting my hands on my hips.

Corbin immitated me and laughed

"You must be kidding. Who would want an ugly thing like you?" He said
"You need to grow up" I said softly
"Okay, okay. Obviously theirs no getting through to you now. I'll try at school" He said

I sighed. Another learning oppurtunity wasted because I have to fight with a child. He walked out and I dropped my towel and started searching for my outfit fir today. Corbin poked his head back in and froze.

"Dayum" He said.

I covered my body, searching for the nearest towel.

"Now I see why Nate's always hard" He said "But then again even naked you still look like a monster"

1) Nathan was my boyfriend 2) I'm done taking Corbin's childish insults

"SHUT UP YOU POOR EXCUSE OF A MAN. YOU NEED TO GROW THE F()CK UP AND START ACTING LIKE YOU GOT SOME SENSE. DAWN MUSTA BEEN DRUNK AS HELL WHEN SHE PICKED YOUR STUPID ASS!!"

I stared angrily at Corbin waiting for a reply.

"It's about time I got an insult out of you." He smiled.

I wanted to hurt him so bad. This was all a joke to him but I was seriously pissed.

Chapter 2
I slammed the door in Corbin's face. How childish could he possibly be I mean one day he totally ignore me, and sometimes it isnt even a day its sometimes goes from a month to a month and a half, then the next moment, he's kind and sweet towards me, he makes everything seem right and romantic! But those moments only last for five minutes and then he wants to fight and irritate the hell outta me!! I mean whats going on in that head of his???? Obviously he needs to grow up and go see a therapist cause Im not going through this crap with him!! I pouted for a moment letting the anger spill out of my system for a moment. When all signs of my anger and fury with that poor excuse of a human being were gone I managed to pull myself together and finish getting ready for school. For today, my 16th birthday I decided I was going to wear a pink turtle neck sleeve less mini, with either my pink and black pastries or a pair of jimmie choo ankle booties. Of course I went with the jimmie choo's! Then I did my makeup, only applying liquid glitter eyeliner, and a nude lipstick. I left my long brown curly hair alone and walked downstairs with my head held high. I went into the livingroom where Dawn was sitting, finishing up the rest of her college term papers.

"Slacker" I joked as I sat next to her.
"Awwww" She cooed "Look at my baby!!"

She grabbed pulled my cheeks and I slapped her hand away.

"You look so precious" She contuined "Like a sissy little princess"
"I'll show you sissy" I playfully growled.

I grabbed a pillow and smached her head in. In reaction she grabbed my head and forced it between the leather couch. And let me tell you there's no circulation down there. I thrashed my hands wildly tring to get her to stop but first she wanted to hear it

"Say it!!" She yelled
"No!!!!!" I yelled back
"Dawn let her go" Corbin said

I felt her grasp loosen as I tried to pull my head up. It took me a minute too my head was really jammed down there. Finally I pulled it up with no help from the love birds. They were on the couch next to me making out!!

"Thanks for nothing" I said

I grabbed my bookbag and left the apartment. I walked down to wall street hoping to catch the 7:45 metro.

"Hey girlie, wait" I herd Nate call.

He ran up to me, his copper skin glowing beautifully, his cropped light brown curly mane blowing in the breeze, those soft gray eyes, and juicy lips, and last but not last that BODY!!! Ohh goodness. He kissed me on the cheeck and wrapped his arms around my waist.

"Where to?" He asked
"School, exactly where you should be" I said
"I'll go tommorrow promise" He said battering those long eyelashes

I rolled my eyes.

"You said that yestarday" I reminded him
"I did?" He asked
"You did" I said

He sighed.

"What time does school start?" He asked

I looked at him in disbelief.

"Are you serious?" I asked "You dont know when school starts?"

He shook his head.

"That's it!!"I yelled "No more excuses. Today, you me-"

He pecked me on the lips

"Shhh. I'll go tommorrow homies" He said
"I dont care if you put on the homies, or whatever else kinda slang you got. Your going to school today!" I said
"But I need a hair cut!" He pleeded
"You said that two days ago, when we were suppose to go to AMC to go see a movie" I growled "'Sorry babe, I cant go... I need my hair cut'" I imitated

I walked away from him and walked down to the subway station. He caught up and paid for my fair.

"Ok, I'll go" He said

He put in fare for him as well as we walked to platform 206.

"Thank You sweetie" I said kissing his nose
"What happened to my lips?" He asked
"What happened to no PDA? Or atleast what you classify as PDA" I asked

He held me close and slipped his tounge deep in my mouth
