Not bad but one minor omission. Brig Gen Yeager first returned to Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, OH, after WW II. According to his book, that was the base closest to his home in West Virginia and had interesting airplanes to fly. His flying and engineering skills there brought him to Col Al Boyd's attention, which resulted eventually in his posting to Muroc and appointment with history.
