Isn't it amazing how demoscats could come up with fixes before the investigation report is complete in December?

Is it any wonder why this is the WORSE Congress in US History?

Is it any wonder why these corrupt Congressturds DID NOT BREAK UP THE "2 Big 2 Fail" Banks?

This is the most wide ranging regulating of Wall Street; the most ambitious rewrite of financial regulations since the Great Depression, and it touches on an exhaustive range of financial transactions, from a debit card swipe at a supermarket to the most complex securities deals cut in downtown Manhattanative process.
An all-night House-Senate conference committee delivered President Barack Obama and Democrats a far-reaching and historic achievement Friday – a realignment of the rules that govern Wall Street and a second victory toward Obama’s legislative triple crown.
For all the messiness of the process, financial reform and March’s health care reform win cumulatively make clear Obama and Democrats are governing in consequential ways – and once again Friday, without a single Republican vote.

You seldom if ever get everything you want; but this is a great start. I am very happy with the results.

Patty, you again are ignorant and uninformed. Who wrote the banking bill? Why that would the be the banksters from Wall Street through lobbyist and the Federal Reserve who will get unlimited power over all financials without oversight from Congress and the people. You praise these people as saviors when they are only going to go after you in return. But keep carrying the flag and singing their praises. Before you make these praises, you should actually see what is in these bills and who is writing them.

Geithner says US can 'no longer drive global growth': Lies about Deficit Reduction

US Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner has told the BBC that the world "cannot depend as much on the US as it did in the past".

He said that other major economies would have to grow more for the global economy to prosper.

He also played down any differences in policy between the US and Europe regarding deficit reduction.

Geithner Lies in 'Strong growth' claim. 2.7% GDP is pretty Weak!!!

The treasury secretary said the US had laid out "very ambitious plans as well" to cut its deficit (Geithner LIED!- There is NO Such PLAN!-).

But he said the US was in a stronger position than many other economies to cut its debt levels.

"We're in the very good position of being able to deliver relatively strong growth rates [compared] to what we're seeing in other major economies," he said.

Some commentators in Europe argue that austerity measures should only be introduced once strong growth has been secured in the wake of the global downturn.

This was a more widely held position until the Greek debt crisis focused policymakers' minds on cutting debt levels.

The Greek crisis showed that governments with high levels of debt find it very difficult to borrow money from international investors, money that they need to service existing debts.

I have. Can't comment on the schools but the healthcare sucked.

I'd love it if they sunsetted Medicare. SS would be OK if they didn't loot it constantly. But they do so that should be done away with as well.

this law will allow the federal gov't to take control of private property without any ''due process''.. it will also allow the feds to review any documents that they deem appropriate to their cause... both are in direct violation of the constitution... it is another example of the socialist agenda of the soros ideals...take over of yet another entity of our way of life...

These Leftists screw up our financial system by forcing banks to loan billions and billions of dollars to blacks and other minorities that had no prayer of ever paying the money back.

They made loans based on race rather than creditworthyness and caused the biggest financial disaster in history.
Then they slither in to fix the situation by taking over and regulating everything but what the real problem is-- Liberalism.

Bleeding heart liberalism caused our financial mess.
How about we regulate liberalism?

Yep, Obama and his regime have created a vast and rapidly expanding constituency of voters dependent on big government; a vast privileged class of public employees who work for big government; and a government dedicated to destroying capitalism and installing themselves as socialist rulers by overwhelming the system. A perfect Marxist scheme.
