But since the government isn't supposed to endorse religion, you'll just have to do it on your own time instead of making it a Pharisee event. There's no legitimate reason for the Government to be involved in it at all.

Actually, weren't many of those that came here originally fleeing from religious persecution? Weren't several of the Founding Fathers Diests, and not Christian at all?

And it's interesting that the early leaders believed that government should not promote any specific religion. They were wise.

Wasn't "under god" only added to the Pledge in the 50's, and does it mention which God? Could it be Allah, or Shiva?

The government has no business in the religion business, but should certainly work toward universal goals such as social justice, and equality.

No one has EVER said there can't be "national prayer day", only that the government should not sponsor or support (or hinder) it.

The public may pray all they like, in any way that's legal, but no government sanction or tax dollars should be involved.

Who is the "majority", exactly?

Males?
Conservatives?
Females?
Democrats?
Hispanics?
Germans?
Whites?
Blacks?
Liberals?
Baptists?
Beer Drinkers?
Golfers?
Fishermen?
Catholics?

Are you aware that most people are a combination of racial histories, nationalities, religious backrounds, sizes, colors, and hobbies?

Please define what you consider to be the "majority.

No actually the Nation was founded upon religious Freedom, not any specific religion.

And that doesn't go back to the Founding of the nation and "Under God" wasn't added until the Eisenhower administration during the height of the red scare.

Are you talking about Moses Confucius and Solon? Three lawmakers, nothing more.

Ah from FDR, the eye of providence...not a Christian symbol.

LOL, I've done my homework, looks like you didn't do yours.
