Don, you'll have to excuse Buster. He's not thinking straight these days, because his ears, actually his entire body, is so red that it hurts. He's embarrassed -- at least, he should be. The other day, in willy-nilly, rightwing, kneejerk fashion, Buster defended the guy who got in the wild gunfight with cops in the East Bay by saying that the shooter only did it because he was upset that "he couldn't get a job." He also said "we'll see more of this", almost if that's a good thing because it's such a just response to the crappiness of the Obama adminsitration's failure at this point to end the recession.

Busty said these things because the initial reports about the shooter said he'd been "worked up" by comments by Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, and the rest of the Geek Squad. Buster worships them.

However, Busty didn't do his homework. If he'd just waited a bit before typing away like Timothy Leary on acid, he would have found out what everybody else suspected. The guy was a career criminal who had been compiling an arsenal, and yes he was greatly influenced by Rush and Glenn and Sean, because his plan was not to secure a job interview but to go to San Francisco and kill everybody in the ACLU office there, and then open fire on a local environmental organization and wipe out everyone there as well. His mother said he was going to do this because those types of organizations give his heroes Glenn, Rush and Sean headaches.

When I pointed out to Buster what a stooge he'd been for defending that guy, and for how irresponsible it was to say "we'll see more of that," he weirdly responded by saying "that a prediction, Einstein." Well, duh! How else were we supposed to take that?

But will you hear Buster admit his idiocy in this matter? Will he pull a mea culpa, as even Shep Smith and some of the other FOXNews people did the last few days about their misleading reporting in the Sherrod matter? Of course not. Buster doesn't do apologies. Because that would be upsetting to his leader Rush Limbaugh, who says that he's "disgusted" by the pansies at FOX who apologized -- he's mad at them for dealing in FACTS and not fantasy, for pete's sake! So we can't expect Buster to pick up the thread of rationality and understand his mistakes. He's too busy waiting for the next attack on some other innocent group, and then for Rush to tell him what to think and say about it.

Excellent points. The dude uses different names because people catch on to his empty-headed tirades and start responding in groups.
His rant about the shooter in the East Bay is reminiscent of Angle, running for the senate in Nevada- the one who said that if this next election doesn't go redneck that she suggests "Second amendment solutions" to the problems- to remove people."

Yeah, they don't even realize how scary they sound. Probably because they're surrounded by people like themselves all day long.
