Pretending to accept only "one dollar per year" is his choice...and a disingenuous lie. The man is a multi-millionaire.

But rather than use his own money like McMahon does, he would rather suck off other people's money.

As for being an "exception", you're right. He's exceptionally bad...named the WORST Attorney General in the United States, and his anti-business lawsuits are largely responsible for Connecticut having the LOWEST per-capita new job creation in the U.S. for the same 20 years he's been in office.

Blumenthal and our veto-proof Democrat legislation have given Connecticut the reputation of being EXTREMELY anti-business.

In spite of that, like most bullies, Blumenthal is a weakling who will be steamrollered if he goes to Congress.

When you are a billionair or millionair like most politicians the only thing left is the power plays and using the office to avoid jail time for insider trading, fraud and tax evasion.

I won't bother to argue about Bloomberg with you - you obviously have your "Tea Party Blinders" on - so be it.

As to lowest per capita job creation, again you lie. I do business all the time in Conn.- Sikorsky, as one of my largest accounts, but here's a small list to shut you up for a minute or two;

How about this;

Obviously, the reason you won't argue with me is that you have no ammunition and must fall back on name calling.

Your links go to a listing of corporations doing business in Connecticut. Please explain how that counters the fact that for the past 20 years Connecticut was last in per-capita NEW job creation. Some charts put us behind Michigan, but their declining auto business gives them an excuse...something Connecticut doesn't have. We just have a veto-proof Democrat legislature, controlled by the greedy unions.

Along the way, they've pumped up government jobs to the point that we have the highest ratio of government employees to private in the nation.

Another of their gifts is as of February 2008 (latest available data) Connecticut had the second highest electric rates in the country (Hawaii is first.)

Taxes? Among the highest in the country...perhaps the highest...I'll try later to look up the current rankings.

And Dick Blumenthal's aggressive anti-business activities have been an integral part of bringing my state to this place.
