The song was originally "foreign" you moron.

"First published under the title "Defense of Fort M'Henry," the poem soon attained wide popularity as sung to the tune "To Anacreon in Heaven." The origin of this tune is obscure, but it may have been written by John Stafford Smith, a British composer born in 1750."

Uh, in this country we do start every school day with the Pledge of Allegiance - not that there's any connection between that and the National Anthem or this story in any way.

So, between that total factual error and using "who's" instead of "whose" I'd say it is you who is pretty "dam" stupid.

WHO CARES what the no-talent skank sang??

Pittsburgh got their a$$es handed to them by the greatest franchise in NFL hsitory, THAT'S ALL THAT MATTERS!!

Gutless YDR has commenst shut off comments on articles talking about Pitsburgh's LOSS. They, and Steelertards, are just cowards who won't face the truth.

The tune. But the words were written by a captured American on a British ship during the war of 1812.
