I don't care for Goldblum either.

But I like D'Onofrio better than Noth's version (nothing against Noth personally - I love him), but I think D'Onofrio is more entertaining, in my opinion.

D'Onofrio is beyond terrible (almost as bad as David Caruso on CSI Miami) and his character is a pompous jerk. The only time I watched this show was when he was not on it. I adore Chris Noth and Julianne Nicholson and even they weren't enough for me to watch this show with D'Onofrio, so I don't think Jeff Goldblum is going to draw me in either.

Oh this is really cool...Jeff's a great actor and would fit the Criminal Intent cast nicely.

Chris will be missed but the show will go on

I have never watched a full episode of L&O in my life, I don't like procedurals. But I love Jeff Goldblum and I love Raines so I'm going to have to start watching that show.

Just got Wheeler back & now Chris Noth is leaving. I can't believe he is leaving; I love Chris Noth & Mike Logan. Glad I have the 1st 5 seasons of L&O on DVD so I can re-watch all the Chris Noth episodes. But I'll give Jeff Goldblum a try. This is much better casting than replacing Jesse L. Martin with Anthony Anderson on the original L&O.

oh no. i love chris noth & am going to miss him so much. i'm very concerned about jeff goldblum joining the cast. he usually just plays himself. i hope the director can keep him in check so he doesn't bring down the quality of the show.

I suppose that I'm in the minority, but I'm continually amazed that so many people are so focused on the actors, to the seeming exclusion of all else. I watch the three "Law And Order" series to see well-constructed crime stories, told in single-episode format. I don't watch for any specific actor or actress, though I find some to be more effective or more engaging than others.

Well I don't mind Noth leaving since I never cared much for him anyways. Vincent D'Onofrio is why I watched Criminal Intent although I can't wait for Golblum too.

Jeff Goldblum will add some originality to the role. Noth was never able to use his role on Criminal Intent to develope his character. He was the same officier who spent the first 4 years on the original Law and Order. Goldberg's show, Raines, did not deserve so quick cancelation.

I will miss seeing Mike Logan and Chris Noth on L & O: CI. I hope they don't kill Mike Logan just banishing back to S. I. Actually if they want they could banish him to SE Minnesota where we would be happy to have him.

I liked Chris Noth, but Criminal Intent should only have Goerins and Emes.

Should have brought back Falacci and had her team up with the bald headed chick.
