No budget, but Senate rocks

SPRINGFIELD - State government still doesn't have a new budget, but now it's about to honor a rock band famous for the song 'Surrender.'
In the legislature's third week of overtime, Gov. Rod Blagojevich brought in former House Democratic Leader Dick Gephardt on Tuesday in hopes of getting legislative leaders excited about the governor's health-care plan.
But the real excitement was in the Senate, where Gephardt was upstaged by a rock star: Cheap Trick's guitar wizard Rick Nielsen.
Nielsen brought his act to the Illinois Senate as he expressed thanks for its efforts to designate April 1 of each year 'Cheap Trick Day' in Illinois. Read more

How about a Demented Dave day? I am Demented Dave. I was a star on G-Force in Chicago from 89-91. I bet I got more then Rick Nielsen ever did.
