I went to Guyton Elementary School in Detroit in the mid 1950's. My auditorium teacher said that she was Charleton Hestons step-mother. I know that Mr. Hestons parents divorced and his mother married Mr. Charles Heston but what happened to Charleton Hestons father who managed a lumber co. in St. Josephs,Mi.? This has been a miystery that I would like to clear up. If you have any info please e-mail it to me. I hope I haven't been lying all these years when I say Charleton Hestons step mother was my auditorium teacher. Oh by the way my fathers chemistry teacher was Charles Linburgs mother at Cass Technical High School in the years 1939 and 1940. I know that's a fact.

Hey, Sue Adams..I also went to Guyton in the mid 50"s.. And Ruth Carter was my Auditorium/Drama Teacher too! Yes I do Believe that Charlton Heston was her stepson..I have seen it in print several times through the years. She was a wounderful drama teacher, and really had an impact on my life.
