The advocate has rightly challenged the introduction of this course at IIT.These IIT bosses have some extra freedom as IIT is not under the control of AICTE. The time has come that all IITs be governed under a common rule, and care must be taken to curb all extra power enjoyed by these IIT directors/deans. They are introducing all types of courses at IITs - economics, law, etc. A time may come where by the name of the institute be changed to IIAS (Indian Institute of All Sciences)!
