'Benjamin Button' A 'Gump'-Like Tale Of Upside-Down Life

Full story: Hartford Courant

There's a lot of "Gump" in "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button." This meandering parable about a man born old who ages into adulthood, then youth and finally infancy is a film that meditates on love, aging, ...

This movie should be called "The Curious Case of Benjamin Nothing," due to Pitts bad acting, as he portrays an old man growing younger by the years. As the years go by, one woman after another throws herself at Pitts character, only to be used up and cast aside like a old shoe. Benjamin's life takes us on a roller coaster ride as he goes from wearing Depends to Big Boy Huggies. Pass the Air Sickness Bag, Please!

You obviously didn't really watch the movie; seems as I recall, having viewed it yesterday, that the women (The English wife of the spy and Daisy herself on at least one, if not more, occasion) were the ones who left HIM, not the other way around. Not a fan of Pitt? Actually neither am I and was not expecting to enjoy the film as much as I did. Was a bit draggy in parts but a story well told and well played.

I didn't see the movie, my whole review is a figment of my imagination.

anyone seen the new Cohen Bros production

'Read and Burn'

Hilarious. The end scene was built up to be hysterical.

And Sledge Hammer's in it. Who can remember him.

You old fart!
Go back to watching "Marley and Me,"
so you can glare at the new and improved
re-made model of Jennifer Aniston, trying
to look like Gwynneth Paltrow, and play
the part of a woman who has a devoted husband,
that lets her yell and scream at him, like
she did with Vince Vaughn, in "The Break Up."

You have red clay for brains.

i want brads kinda karma @ 01/05/2009 at 3:46 am Hollywood is a cut throat industry, even with all of Jens money, she was treated like a new comer, like Jens name alone was not good enough, so they made a 40 yr. old woman take her clothes off for a magazine, fake relationships, talk about brad and his family, sent her on about 10 promo shows drunk and high, incoherent, tricked consumers into thinking her movie was only about dogs. what did brad have to do? stayed cool like always and let his named and reputation do all the work for him. that’s power, brad is probably happy for his ex, why not?, he just didn’t want her any more.

# 86 i want brads kinda karma @ 01/05/2009 at 4:03 am ellie my dear, just because a couple have disagreement does not mean they don’t love one another, as i am sure you already know that, they were trying to learn one another, which is normal for a new couple, at least brad didnt dump Angelina in the street like a $2.00 hooker, we have seen numerous pictures of their bliss, for you to be a fan of both couple, you seem all to happy to try like the other crazies to put a negative spend on what brad himself has shared with us, but, there’s nothing negative about brad, and that my dear is why we are still talking about brad all these years later, brad is the man.

It has nothing to do with you. As with most of her psot they are off topic and are posted for her enjoyment. Often she will come back and reply to her own posts saying they confuse her...go figure. Hope that gives you some insight into Blondie. Don't try to figure out her confusion.

Got mugged again?
Poor old thing.

"The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,"
was very good to watch, wasn't it?

It is a good thing that you paid for your
ticket, before your purse got snatched.

Thank goodness they did not steal you heels,
and your silk slip.

You need to watch for muggers...I hear streetwalkers like yourself are targets for muggings. You work hard for that $2 and then someone steals it. You'll never pay your bills if that happens...hell even if it doesn't you won't pay your bills...stonewalled doing it for 9 months now.

Be Safe Senior Streetwalker!

Concerned Citizen is right on the money with this one. Brad Pitt is NOT a good actor. He's just not. Plain and simple. I can think of 5 or even 10 actors who could have nailed this role way better than he did. Anytime I was really getting into the story, his bad acting would immediately take me out of it. His pretty face has gotten him very far in life, but unfortunately he hasn't learned how to act yet.

No I want to tell u this first because it's about time someone called a spade a spade....

From dlisted.com ...see the pics there.....

Brad Pitt's eyes are begging us for help. He knows that Saint Angie Jo has slowly sucked the hotness and life out of him like a Hoover. Shit. His youth and hotness is what she mostly feeds on. That's how her bony ass can stand and walk. Well, and the archangels also carry her on their wings.

Brad also knows that she made him wear that pashmina so that she could have laugh at him at his own premiere. That's exactly what she's doing in that picture above. But bitch shouldn't be laughing. That evil granny hair isn't doing her any favors. She looks like the evil stepmother from Cinderella in a power suit. She's just missing a grey streak.

Here's more of Cinderella's nemesis and Beat Face at the German premiere of THAT BENJAMIN BUTTON'S SHIT in Berlin tonight.

Woo Hoo someone FINALLY spoke the truth...she is going to be outed for sure

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Pisces

It's a great day for fixing anything that needs attention now. That might be a dripping tap, a sick child, an unpaid bill or a miffed partner. However, you'll do particularly well if you need to sort out something connected with official or joint finances or red tape. You might be asked to help someone deal with a bureaucratic problem, especially if they're elderly.
