as no one seemed to notice last Tuesday, the bicep muscle works to lift the upper arm. that muscle is attached to the bone by the tendon that Christian described as "ruptured" according to the doctor and his partner said "made a loud noise" as they continued the routine.

it is irresponsible for the show, the judges and Christian to expect him to continue. He is in pain. He can't use the arm properly, his line will be off, he can't support his partner much less lift her. he is out of contention.

the man needs to rest, get that tendon repaired and recover regardless of enthusiastic fan support. he can always be invited to join the show again when he is fully healthy.

this is dancing not tag team wrestling or other blood sport

by the way, a rupture is not a cramp as the headline on this page reads. a rupture is to a tendon what a break is to a bone.
