The Scots should keep Trump out of Scotland. What a shame this arrogant megalomaniac "speaks" as a USA citizen. Now all the Scottish will have a super bad opinion of us - especially if Trump prevails. HE WILL DESTROY life the as these people know it. Send him packing, Scots!

What a lot of nonsense! More sugar spun in this article than on a large candy floss stick! Trump will get his way and the local residents of Aberdeenshire, Scotland and not England like some of you folk like to call it are right behind him, the application has gone to the Scottish Government to decide, as the incompetant fools they call the Local Council are so far removed from reality and what the silent majority want they decide to make a decision to suit their liberal leftie selfs and not the voters of Aberdeenshire, the Region, the Nation. As for that idiot Michael ' porridge oats man' Forbes the less said about that little cretin the better for human kind. It's a bit rich writing from a negative angle about Trump - but i'm sure he doesn't care and the vast majority of local Aberdonians will be rolling out the red carpet to welcome him onto the first tee at Menie - his money is exactly the sort of investment the Scottish Economy needs right now! Welcome hame Donald!

Britain and more particularly Scotland do not need Trump his money, his opportunistic benevolence or his stupidity. Why is every piece of wild open land free to be plundered by economic parasites like Trump. In this part of Britain a "Trump" is a "Fart", smelly hot air, quite appropriate.

Beware of the man who has all the answers. Trump is a classic vampire and will suck the life ($$) out of any project he touches. Big problems with his tower project in Chicago; will most likely go into forclosure. As they say, there's a sucker born everyday, never give a sucker an even break & never smarten up a chump.

I love watching commercials with Donald Trump in them. I love how he likes to come off ass a bad ass. I love how he tries to Mean Mug the camera. I would love to slap the ever living sh#t out of him as a result. I would love to be on his show, so when he gives me that mean look and says im fired, i can punch him in the mouth and watch him cry like a little girl. Donald Trump is a waste of sperm

I think its great to see someone stand up for their values. This farmer worked hard to have what he has and no one, especially some rich, arrogant, its all about me and what I want person should bully it away from him. Trump obviously has no morals or empathy in him just cold heart. Donald - Your Fired

The opening Verse of Si Kahn's "What you Do with What You've Got" sums Donald up quite well:

You must know someone like him
He was tall and strong and lean
With a body like a greyhound
And a mind so sharp and keen
But his heart, just like a laurel,
Grew twisted round itself
Till almost every thing he did
Caused pain to someone else

I think the counter would be if he shaves his f**** head he can have the piece of land. The sleezball developer wants to take away people's tranquility on the promise that they will hang with the rich. That is what the rich think that us regular folk will sell our soul just to rub shoulders with them. Screw you filthy rich bastard and whoever is a sell out!

Arrogant Donald at his best. He should NOT get his way in Scotland and Ireland shoudn't let him in. The "economic" value of what he claims to bring is not worth the risk. He spends more time writing books...where does he find the time? Look at his Chicago project...I see that it's falling on hard times. People need to stand up against these big corporate types...I know, I've been there!

Some time ago Trump said he felt "no connection" with Scotland, the place his forebears came from.
Now all of a sudden he wants to "come home". The only reason is the not-quite-so-mighty-these-days dollar that he thinks he'll make from the project. The "benefits" to the local community will soon prove to be worthless.
There are already more than enough expensive properties lying empty most of the year, waiting for the rich to come and grace them with their presence.
Trump means "fart" in my household, too!(see #5 above).
