I'm hoping to find someone with film of Stans Band playing in Detroit. Parke passed away, his wife is my best friend and holds a wealth of info on the band. She has nothing on film. Any help out there

Hi!
I am Parke's younger brother. I don't think anyone in the family has any film of Kenton's band playing in the Detroit area. I was 13 or 14 years old when Parke joined the band and he let me carry his trombone aboard the band bus at the Book Cadillac Hotel. Got to meet Stan kenton, June Christy and some of the other band members. What a thrill!

Craig are you still around? I'm getting close to getting film of Parke from the Fisher in Detroit. By the way I visited Stan Kentons grave. He is in the same cemetary as Marilyn Monroe.
