This whole situation is ridiculous. I was closed out of tickets TWICE on Ticketmaster due to this error and ended up spending twice as much on Stubhub for my seats. People wonder why the music industry is in such terrible shape. Concert tickets are INSANELY overpriced from the start, and when places like Ticketmaster do things to sell tickets for EVEN MORE money, what kind of message does that send? And the Ticketmaster guy is full of it. This happened to people I know both online and on the phone. When we have to pay Ticketmaster all these insane fees, there is no reason for things like this to happen.

Submitted my Springsteen ticket request on the ticketmaster web site at 10:00:15 last Saturday for the show at United Center in Chicago. Was given the screen saying no tickets matched my request but were instead available at ticketsnow. At 10:00:30 they had over 1000 tickets listed for sale on their website. Tell me how it would even be possible to buy a single ticket and relist it for sale in less than 30 seconds, let alone over 1000.

Why couldnt I walk up to the box office of the venue in question(The colesuem) and not buy tickets the day of the sale??? I was told at the window that they were only on sale monday at ticketmaster, which conventiently had an outlet five muinutes down the road. By the time I got there the shopw was sold out. They said that box office sales would start tuesday. How can that happen if they sold out on monday?

I was shut out of Ticketmaster for tickets to Mellon Arena in Pittsburgh. I was also given the option of buying tickets from a link on the Ticketmaster web site. The same GA tickets that would have been $89 were going for $189 up. It was 10:03 a.m. and the tickets had only been on sale for 3 minutes. I had the 2 tickets and then all of a sudden the next page would not load. By the time it did those tickets were gone and I could never get a GA ticket to come up again. Finally they were sold out. How did the other site, possible called Buy Tickets Now, have tickets to offer so fast? I thought I was the only one until I read this article plus some others. I definitely needs looked into.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but why would you take the time to post something derogatory to Bruce on a website of his fans? Too much time on your hands? Get another hobby besides bashing Bruce and the band.

Why don't you guys stop going to these concerts for a while? Trust me, that'll get their attention NOW. Then maybe someone will come along with a better way of doing tickets.

The email I got from Ticketmaster listed that the Nassau Coliseum tickets were going on sale at 10:00 am. I logged into Ticketmaster at 9:45 and surprise, surprise the tickets had actually been on sale since 9:00 am. All I got was an error message saying the website was down for maintenance. Investigate these crooks.

Ticketmaster definitely had problems, I spoke with customer service after receiving an email. Ticketmaster has exclusive agreements with the venues (paying licensing fees), nothing will change. What rocket scientists would put the whole tour on sale the same day. Tickemaster has been doing this for years, they are some of the dumbest people on the face of the earth.

I never did get the whole "Bruce" thing. Sure, he had a couple of good songs about thirty years ago. I think the fact that he has a hardcore following that will go to his concerts dozens of times makes him look like a more popular performer than he actually is. I went to one of his concerts about ten years ago, and practically fell asleep from his boring stories between and during his songs. And why does he speak as though he just rode a horse in from Texas??? He's from JERSEY for Pete's sake!!! fuggetaboutit!

I got shut out at the Collesium too. Two error messages then the TicketNow sales pitch. Lets go back to the good old days, if you want tickets, stand in line ouside the venue and put them in sale there, only. This way the real fans, who wait will be able to buy them. True their will be some scalpers, but it has to be better than the scam Ticketmaster pulls.

This definitely happened to me, I got one error when I was trying to buy a set of tickets for each date that I cannot have two tabs open for Ticketmaster at the same time. Last time I checked its not illegal to purchase tickets for two different nights. After it kicked me out of my que spot that time, ever time subsequently I received an error message saying that Ticketmaster is performing website maintenance. Sorry, what is that message all about? You can't perform maintenance during a major concert sale. I feel like I've been cheated, and not just because I didn't get tickets. I was on at 9 am on the dot and I was still shut out.
