"Couture (16-9) also had hadn't fought for 15 months"

Ironically, that's the last time the Sentinel had an editor.

The amount of headline and in-text errors are ridiculous. Ive seen high school newspapers with less mistakes

This sport is sick. Why do they put a rusty 45 year old man up against a 27 year old NCAA champion wrestler?? This was nothing but the old Roman colesium gladitor type of event. Here in NY, we don't tolerate this sort of crap. I will be writing as many letters as needed to get this thing banned..it makes our country look bloodthirsty.

This is what happens when copyediting gets farmed out to India to save a buck, all in the name of corporate journalism. Welcome to the new world.

Are you serious? Do you even follow the sport? Let me guess you happened upon the article and got scared that some men are not scared to particpate in a full contact sport...

Anyone who is into MMA, wrestling, or even football understands that age is not always the most important factor in these events. I actually watched the event...not just read the article and know that Randy was handling Brock quite well. Not only that but most of the men participating in this sport are very intelligent and know what they are doing.

If you don't like the sport don't watch it but don't try to censor it from those of us who actually appreciate the art of what is being accomplished.

I dont agree with giving a guy in his 3rd fight a shot at the Heavyweight Championship, plus it was a physical mismatch, 40+ pounds and 14 years? Randy should have insisted on a different opponent, perhaps in his weight range (not ducking, just reality; you dont put a 155 pounder in with a 200 pounder you know what will happen).!
At the same time, Lesnar is the real deal, not a sham like Bimbo Slice.

Wow. Brock is a beast. Looking at his size advantage, I almost felt sorry for Randy. When he dropped him and started dribbling his head off the canvas, I really felt bad for him.

Who fights this beast next?

Do you remember the much smaller 170 lb jujitsu specialist that fought 250 lb Hawaiian years ago before the UFC had weight restrictions?

Please do something more constructive with your time. The overwhelming amount of people becoming interested and involved with this sport will easily make your letter go into the shredder.

Instead, take a minute and find out what this sport is all about. Come stop by the cage and I'll gladly give you a crash course. Literally?

There needs to be a super heavyweight class, period.

What do you expect from a wrestler who has been juicing and taking growth hormone for 10 years? Obviously the guy is a freak, go figure...

Do they do drug testing in the UFC? If they did, Lesnar would be selling T-shirts in the stands.

It makes our country look bloodthirsty? Why don't you write to Bush and tell him to stop a war that has cost thousands of lives. Get your priorities in order.

Steroids only last so long in your system, just like any other drug. So as much as I'd like to agree with you, it's not a viable solution.

Honestly people, Lesnar may look like he's juiced but he's been in alot of wreslting industries that all have drug testing, and looks like he passed all of them, and yes there was a controversy about him geting caught with illegal drugs, well guess what? it was legal, and it was suppliments that any athlete can take, so if you blame the product just tell your heroes to take what he's taking. and the difference between couture and brock is, i find pretty much technique vs. strength couture has all the experience he needs to be able to take a guy like lesnar who is actually 60 lbs diffence not 80, also in the previous matches, against frank mir im pretty sure lesnar has been taking lessons on how to protect his weaknesses so dont feel bad for couture, they know what they're doing and he's a veteran already, he can take care of himself, unlike lesnar who is still getting the hang of these jujitsu holds and etc.
