Roboblogger's algorithm spotted the word "gay" in the article and posted it here as a result.

So that makes approximately one billion viewers _plus_ Eddie the fan of late night transvestite sex working hitch hikers who have no regrets over his departure.

This story is clearly on topic. No roboblogger error here. The long standing homophobic bigot still thinks Ratner's "only f---ts rehearse" remark was just fine.

Prop 8 proponents must realize now that they've made the situation much much worse by refusing to release those tapes. This is now the only view of the testimony that people who are interested enough to watch are going to see. And the dramatic readings are undoubtedly much more effective than the original testimony.

I particularly noted the portrayal of Maggie Gallagher as a vituperative marm and Blankenhorn as an imbecillic dupe [which he may actually be, as far as I know.] Gallagher, in particular, portrays herself much differently in person, which would be easy for an actress to imitate.[She was much too good-looking!]

The bottom line is that proponents of Prop 8 have greatly increased the significance and viewership of this play, much the way a "million moms" increased the significance of the Archie magazine.

I had always thought these people were smart. Apparently, the best and brightest have moved on to the Republican presidential primary race. Yeesh!

Jane Lynch is FAR to slender to be playing Gallagher, that's for sure, but her experience playing Coach Sue Sylvester on "Glee" certainly prepared her for this role.

Clooney, Riley and Pitt certainly provided the comic relief moments with fine style. Their comic timing was flawless.

I still wish that I'd been told of this event a couple of weeks sooner. I know a couple of bars and pizza parlors that would happily have made events out of this broadcast. Advertized for it, too. Could have been fundraisers.

Sadly, as usual, my satelite connection is too slow to play it.

I think I could use a coffee and a download. No Starbucks in my town, but we do have a few restaurants offering wifi.

Free wifi is available at many McDonald's and Panera Breads restaurants.
