James Levine's kidney surgery was "completely successful," and went "exactly as planned and expected," according the brother of the Boston Symphony Orchestra music director.

WHO CARES!!!!! Alot of people get surgery. Is this guy any better than the average guy that goes to work? When they go to the hospital they do not put it in the paper. What a waste of newss print.

People care because Mr Levine had to cancel his appearances with the BSO this summer, and those who follow the BSO would like to know. He may not be better than, but he is certainly different from the "average" guy who goes to work everyday He has the BSO, for years was the musical director of the Metropolitan Opera in NY, and is an esteemed guest conductor world-wide. I'm pretty certain this little article reporting the good news re: his surgery will be the last you'll have to read about Mr. Levine.
