I 'love' how Jon gets the blame for everything!

I didn't want to post this on some of the threads I have been reading, as I know it would be taken the wrong way.

I really am astonished that he gets the blame for everything including the kitchen sink!

Maybe because he constantly rams it down fans throat that he is the leader and ultimate decision maker?

EVERY corporation blames the top honcho when things go dire.

Why should 'brand' Bon jovi be any different?

Not saying I blame this all on him at all, that thought just popped in my head when I read your post.

People (fans?) forget that without someone driving at the helm, we wouldn't have been able to see BJ TOUR the world for 30 years.

I would assume everytime they realised a CD, support it with a tour, that's about the music. Just saying!!!

The problem this time around is that they started touring before they released the cd and they are only doing a couple songs from the new cd everything else is nostalgia. the truth is they dont even have to have a new cd out they could just tour every couple of years since the fans would show up to hear LOAP for the bazillionth time IMO the only reason for a new cd is so Jon can keep pretending that its not a nostalgia tour.

I don't agree with you. Sorry!!

I'm not just a BJ fan, I love music I go to many concerts.
Bands that have been around for a long time like BJ don't play many songs on the new cd's due to how many songs they play at a show. BJ don't play for an hour you know it's a 2hrs plus show. They usually play the singles.

People want to hear all the songs they love not just the new cd. When your limited with time it's hard to put songs from, in BJ'S case, 12 albums plus Crossroads and Bon Jovi Greatest hits with new songs that are popular.
At one of the last shows they played 28 songs. If they took 2 songs from their albums that's 24 plus 2 songs from the greatest hits that's another 4. 28 songs in total. They played 3 songs from WAN which is above average. The songs were:
1. That's what the water made me- I love this song!
2. Because we can
3. What about Now
(Dallas show)

So can I ask you, why are you here? Are you fan of BJ's music?

I understand that in order to do a 2-3 hour show you have to play old stuff but when only 3 out of 28 is new and the majority of the show is older stuff that is nostalgia. and for fun I was just looking at a setlist for Springteen and he did 4 from his new cd. I dont have a problem with BJ playing the old stuff I have a problem with everyone pretending this cd(WAN) is any good. as far as your question about being a fan I was up until LH and then IMO the circle and WAN fell short and it all seems very forced to me. I cant even watch the videos of Jon anymore that weird thing he does with his mouth just to get the notes out is very distracting.

At the Des Moines show a couple weeks ago they sang five songs from What About Now:
Because We Can
What About Now
Amen

Jons speech at the beginning of the WWWB documentry shows what type of ego maniac Jon tranformed into.

'Don't make funny faces at the camera and be men'

That's when Richie should have left.

What happend to that happy laid back guy from the 80s 90s and part of 00?
