Same stuff nothing new, but they did get something wrong.

Cleveland was not a Bon Jovi show, it was a Cleveland Browns Pep Rally that the band was hired to play.

Nikki will be Richie's downfall, that is my prediction.

They must be desperate to have a new headline. This article is just a re-hash of what is already known.

Beyond that, given that Cleveland is the only show to be cancelled, I would point out that Cleveland is not exactly the wealthiest town in America. It may just be that the area simply cannot afford it in general. Don't forget, they may have cancelled Cleveland, but at the same time they've added shows in other parts of the country (and Australia). I guess we'll just have to wait and see if there are more cancellations.

Interesting. I only see packed venues and amazing reviews from the crowds. I agree with you, Bon Jersey, about the "fashion designer" being his downfall. It's such a shame and such a waste of an awesome talent (Richie, not the "designer").

Since she and Richie were photographed again with that TMZ guy, I'm watching for some more leaks from the Richie camp, true or not.

I agree Lyric... all great reviews and packed venues. The haters will always hate.

To be honest, I don't care if he comes back. I really enjoy watching Phil X. He's just more active on stage and I love the interaction with Tico and David. He's having one hell of a time ... He is ROCKIN that stage !!

Bon Jovi is nothing without Sambora. He shreds that mother fuc%^r. Phil is good but his problem is his chords are not right for the melodic and harmonic direction of the music of this band. He doesn't choose chords that are appropriate for Jons vocal range. Sambora is a master of both picking and structure with a vocal method that suits Bon Jovi and Jon. The chemistry can not be replaced. They are all done without him.

One "critic's" opinion. I've read rave reviews on that show. Maybe he should ask the fans that attended.

They have not been packing them in as you are led to believe by one or two reviews. If you watch Youtube there are many open seats left in this leg. Some of it could be from the economy but I doubt it. Bon Jovi is going to lose steam without Sambora. Phil is good but not good enough to keep the male musicians there. Chicks like Phil but there are not enough of them and to many want Sambora. The chicks that go to see Jon will eventually die out as his looks go, he ages and his voice goes. Sambora carried the first leg of the tour. He was on fire. Jon was just going through the motions. They may have had 1 or 2 good shows in Europe but it will not last. Whoever they would get to replace him will not have the chemistry no matter how good a shredder. Richie will be back. They know they can't survive forever without him. That's if he decides to come back. Right now Sambora holds all the cards. For the first time he's in charge and he's taking his sweet time to prove it. Sambora rulz!

There are still alot of fans who are going, it just will not be enough for the long haul. Bon Jovi could go on and even do another tour. You will just see smaller crowds, mostly the chicks who are there to see Jon. That is not devaluing Tico and David, but without the original 4, minus Alec, the chemistry is lost. Love him or hate him, without Sambora it will never be the same.

How is he in charge? He is the on who said he wanted to go back but Jon was making it hard. If he was in charge then how could jon be making it hard to go back.

The only thing he is holding are fabric swatches, next to Yoko. Richie does not "rulz" but he probably has a ruler and pinking shears.

There maybe more empty seats than normal but to me that is more to do with a poor album, economic reasons and the fact that this band tours too often than Richie not being there.
For 80% of people attending Bon Jovi shows, whether Richie is there or not is irrelevant.

I don't think it's a case of anyone hating anyone, it's the reality of the music business which is already standing on it's last legs. This is about the music and the chemistry. I think everyone likes Phil. No one is disputing hes is a nice guy or his personality. He is a good guitarist and is doing a good job, but he misses the mark with this band. He wont be enough to keep this ship afloat. Jon has charisma on his own, but it's not enough. I don't think even his looks and talent will be enough to save Bon Jovi without Sambora. You need all 4.

I don't care about their girly fight or his swatches, and I don't believe everything in print. I'm talking about the music. Bon Jovi needs Sambora, love it or hate it, it's just the way it is for their music and the band to survive. That's where he holds all the cards. Jon will take him back no matter what happened,he's not stupid. Sambora is part of his cash cow.

Respectflly, totally disagree on all counts. JBJ completely rocked the concerts I attended. The complete opposite of "going through the motions." Personally I don't think Richie holds any cards at all, and I think JBJ will stand his ground, which is actually for Richie's own good. Love the guy, and think he's an amazing musician, but I also think he should wake up.

That's what I think too. If Richie were there, would all the tickets be sold out? It would probably be the same situation too.

I'm not saying he hasn't rocked some shows. I'm saying it won't last. Jon knows to much about the "business" of music, Sambora is his right arm. He needs him as much as Sambora needs Jon. Musically they go together like peanut butter and jelly. Sambora can't be replaced. He will be back. You need all 4 or it's over for Bon Jovi.

Again, I disagree. JBJ has a steel will, and usually achieves anything he sets his mind to. I think he'll continue, but maybe after a much-needed break. I don't think Sambora would be "replaced", but PhilX is doing one hell of a job. He's amazing to watch, has crazy energy, and adds a whole new vibe to the concerts. I can only see them gaining momentum. Can't wait until they're back on the East Coast!
