Jon is doing interviews for the movie Stand up Guys, he just gave his response on what happened to Stephanie. It seems everything is okay and under control, you be the judgehttp://t.co/tfdFMOBv

Down to earth?! He seems to not care. His ego is too big to let this affect his image and career. That's his priority sadly.

Nevermind I get it now that I watch it again. He wants to keep it short and simple and not discuss it but be cordial so I understand him just sayin the little that he does without emotion. I guess that was right response but I didn't expect him to be out and about partyin at premiere already. It's not serious work ... Just a movie.

He can say whatever he wants. He only shows his public persona. That's why it was such a shock to hear the news of Stephanie, because he always says/acts like everything is fine and dandy.

Unfortunately this is now true. He's a great entertainer, but very absent husband and dad. Stephanie is sadly paying the price. Goodness knows what the others will face, let alone poor Ava!

I dont see u saying that to anyone else who has an opinion so stop trying to start a fight with me. I have every right to be here just like u. Im wishing Stephanie well and ur yelling about it. So ur more upset about some aging rockstar than a young girl who is having a hard time? That is so very sad. Its not about Jon and his reputation or his feelings. God bless Stephanie.

In all reality, jbj's work is his work, not his kid's. She didn't do anything anyone else's kids might do, and their family doesn't answer to anyone anymore than we would. His general statement was brief and to the point. I still respect him, and hope for the best for his daughter.

Bingo! The only difference between Steph and many other kids who had an "incident" (we'll just put it that way) like this is who her father is, as is the case with kids whose parents are either celebs, political leaders, etc. Being JBJ's daughter, of course the media is going to have a heyday with it. While it's too bad for her family that this had to be so public, maybe it's not so bad for her to be somewhat publicly embarrassed...a good biff upside the head not to do anything this stupid again. I think Jon is handling it the best he can PR-wise. I saw a lot of concern and worry on his face. I'm sure he's thankful that someone found her and called for help. This could have been a horrible tragedy.
