Seems like in the past he only waxed his chest for a movie role so I'm a little curious as to the reason.(yes, I know that's shallow but we're allowed to be once in awhile. LOL) Is the Avon show tonight?

It started off for the movie but he has done it even when there was no movie. He said that Dorothea likes it like that

Is he going through a mid-life crisis?! Haha this is prolly the first time in my life, im not feeling it with jon. The chest shaved/waxed at 51? The crazy dancing?! Eh , at 40 yeah it was HOT! Now it doesn't suit him at all! JMO.

I prefer men with chest hair, but that's a matter of taste.

I don't think so.Nothing wrong with his sexy image.People complain that Jon is sometimes too serious and conservative and now he has a midlife crisis? When he was standing next to his microphone at the beginning of the tour everybody cried :"Jonny doesn't move".Now he's dancing and it's midlife crisis? Come on,he's still hot and sexy and he's a showman he has great stage presence and definately he doesn't cross the line of good taste. He was great during that show!
And btw: shaving/waxing/epilating, whatever you call it it,s a matter of taking care of one's body at any age.

He seems to have more fun at these shows. It's nice to see him relaxed and having a good time.

too bad at the Washington DC concert, he acted as if he was in a bad mood and very reserved. even if he is sick, he has access to a chiropractor, etc. when if i have the flu and can't lift my head off the pillow, i pop a couple of advil and i feel better for a few hours. i forked over big bucks to be up close, was on my feet cheering the whole time like many others, so it can't be blamed on the crowd. a real disappointment to a concert i had looked forward to since the last tour...

Taking a Advil will make you feel a little better, but not enough to do what he does on stage. Singing, dancing, moving around, getting the audience into it... Sorry no amount of Advil can lift someone that much. Be thankful that they didn't cancel due to illness-then you would have really lost the big bucks that you paid.

I guess it is how you look at it. I bought front row to one of the Richie rehab shows. I would have been MUCH happier if they had cancelled.

Thank you for posting the videos. I enjoyed every minute. He definitely can rock and entertain. I really liked the way he is dancing and having fun with the other members of the band.

Hey I never complained he stood in one place. And i don't mind his dancing , it's cute. I just didn't like him that one performence. That's all. But youre right he was just letting loose. I think the chest is throwing me off. I like him hairy and manly :)

I wasn't disappointed in his moving around or lack of it; it was how he acted.period. like he didn't want to be there. like he was taking his fans for granted a little. when he hurt his leg on the last tour, he was much friendlier to the audience and he was in a great deal of pain I am sure. I also can't imagine if they cancelled, they wouldn't refund the money to a stadium full of fans. He could have maybe even said he was under the weather or something, even though I doubt that was even the case. I and the others would have given him slack for his 'dullness' if we were informed during the show or even after.
