Exacty! Well said. This is a private matter. No one knows what's going on behind the scenes which is as it should be.
No one is judging your life choices, you don't need to judge his.

People going nuts, talking as if they know Jon too well. Gosh! You don't know him, stop defending him, he should stay home with the family, period. This is not an easy situation, I mean, HIS daughter, and what about her brothers and Dorothea, they don't need their father to be there in this situation?? Sorry but Jon is putting work first as he always do. JMHO!

You are making it sound like, the kids and Dorothea are crying at home and said, I'm outta here. He has been with his family non-stop since is happened. I am pretty sure it was decided by everyone that Jon could go. It was a fine hours away from hone and now he is back home again and will be there until next week. It's not like he is saying, thats it, my fatherly duties are dine. He is still there with his family.

I agree. There is no doubt in my mind, that it was decided with the whole family, that Jon would go ahead with the scheduled plans. I have seen a picture of Jesse since this happened. Matt and extended family have been on twitter and facebook. Does it mean, that no one cares? It just means the family (parents, brothers, Uncles, Grandparents) are doing the best that they can in this situation.

I already posted in another thread that this was a work commitment planned well in advance and Jon had an obligation to attend....also he did fly on a private plane which means he was gone 18-20 hours tops, if even that long...but I did have another thought which no one seems to be mentioning but after years of personally studying psychology, working as a counselor with incarcerated teens and now working full time for the NYPD has anyone considered the possibility that this is Jon's coping mechanism??? while everyone is blaming him for going back to work so soon or making excuses that Dorothea gave her permission for him to go back to work, in my professional based experience I think he is going back to work as a way of coping with his own feelings/ghuilt for his daughters actions. While no one knows the exact nature of what is going on behind closed doors I would venture a guess that Steph is probably in a rehab program of sorts...at the very least an outpatient one...or going into one soon... and then the rest of the time she is most likely locked in her room not communicating with her parents. And if they have shown her any kind of "tough love" then trust me, she is probably mad at them for making her life miserable....I don't see how Jon going back to work is any sign of poor parenting. As he said in the interview life goes on and this is simply how he goes on...he is after all the family "breadwinner" and Dorothea is a stay at home mom for all intents and purposes...

Also for all those bashing Richie I have to say I know for a fact his twitter is not 100 percent him all the time and his FB page is not him at all....someone working for Richie is running most of his twitter and entire FB and was following a schedule for promoting his appearances, etc a tweet about Steph was sent out once Richie and company had the all clear to acknowledge it publicly...

Truth or not I'm sure Jon and Dorothea can handle that in their own best way.We don't have the right to jugde Jon and discuss each and every move he makes. We know nothing about their private life and decisions they make to let the family go back to normality.
We can only support them and wish all the best.My best wishes to You Jon and your family!

But a day trip to LA to shoot a video and back home in the evening is abandoning his daughter? You have no idea what he's putting first or what's going on in the firstplace so stop saying what he needs and doesn't need. Obviously when Jon makes a committment, he follows through on that committment - always has and most likely always will. Another good thing to teach your children. IMO
Interesting...i thought bringing a child.into this world and being there forthem always was the biggest committment of.all. I guess some fathers dont see it that way. I find.some.of the men associated with bon jovi to be rude, selfish, arrogant, and conceited. Especially jon and his employees who think that he is god. Such a shame.

I guess im right about the way they treat women and children. Rs99 seems to think so. No never was kicked to the curb rs99. Wouldnt llwer my standards to those kind of boys. Just a free american who has just as much right as u to make comments. You just cant handle the truth. Is there something u do with the boys to keep u on some kind of goody list. And avain, who is on the hit list u say jon has made.

Family is the biggest commitment , not a movie premiere commitment. Jon likes to work, its what he loves more then anything apprently. It could be his coping mechanism, I can see that. Even when not hes on tour he's always out and about, no wonder he was "shocked" about steph. He's never around!

He is home more often than people think. Besides, as if Stephanie would have been doing anything in front of him, teenages can hide, Jon would have still been in shock. She is at college now, he can't be with her 24/7. Also, we need to put some blame on her but come on, Stephanie is 19, just barely one year in college and look what she does?? Enough with blaming the parents and making up excuses his away, his works too much, a mean Dad etc etc. You can teach your kids and be the best parents but at the end of the day, its up to them.

We are just speculating about the whole thing and we don not know first, what really happened to stephanie, why she did that, how long she's'been into addictions, then we cannot know what is the current everyday life of the family, how jon is in real life, and we do not know what they have set up now for stephanie, how the whole family is dealing with that .... We can only be sure about her parents'being shocked and totally pulled down as any parents would. Therefore, as a mother, instead of speculating about what jon should or should not do and try to think at his place, I prefer to support them with my best thoughts.

You lot really need to get a life. Stop judging Jon on something you no nothing about. We have no clue on how much time he has spent with his kids over the years and people are making up their minds depending on news articles/interviews etc.
I think we all need to move on from this subject and let Jon and his family deal with it in their own way without the fans getting on his back!

RS99 lives on a curb panhandling and harassing anyone discussing BJ. I believe it's a female, bur an IT would probably be more fitting.
