Why is she in a relationship w/ some older guy named Billy Ferros? He's like 30+ and a chef in Switzerland.

I think you have issues and somehow are a little angry or something. Maybe people would start respecting the rednecks here if your redneck police knew the laws in the first place "hhhhmmm"?

Well, you're under a misapprehension here. Envy has nothing to do with it. The CHOICE to do drugs is stupid for ANYONE. I don't give a rap about the rest of her life. Drugs are not new. They were very much a part of the college scene in the 1960s. They were available. You don't take drugs by "mistake", particularly if you're intelligent and aware of the repercussions, which have been publicized for so many years that you'd have to be braindead not to know about them. I'd say the same about ANY 19 year-old college kid: Are you COMPLETELY out of your mind playing with heroin?
Now, about the ethical issue that's been raised...It was suggested that money alters a person's responsibility under the law. There are still people in this world who believe that to be a misuse of money, power and fame. Did the kid's family do this? We don't know. Is it something to be admired? Absolutely not.
When I see a poster dismissing all local residents as "rednecks", I'll call him/her on it. Not all of us are unfamiliar with the perspective that money can bend laws. Some of us simply reject the position as immoral.
This was NOT a mistake. It would be refreshing if people stood up and took responsibility for their lives, and the rest of us held them to it.

My thoughts exactly! I didn't even try it. I'm sure if Stephanie has an FB page it is very private & I'm almost sure she doesn't have a relationship with anyone outside of America.

Try moral. Angry would fit if I were a redneck by any stretch of the imagination. My "issue" is with anyone who thinks it's normal or excusable to do heroin on a college campus, or who wants to write it off as a mistake. Morality. Responsibility. Self respect. Character.

Or just simple INTELLIGENCE.

Gee, what a concept.

Some of you people are so easy I'm setting laughing at the responses to the post about Stephanie's relationship with a older man. I have no clue as to weather is is true or not. Nor do I really care one way or the other. But let me put this to some of you. Three weeks ago if I would have said she would be found in a dorm room almost dead from a herion overdose some of you would be sure that would not be possible either.

OTOH, I managed to get through college without sticking a needle into my arm, and no arrest record. I'll take "sanctimony" over stupidity any day. You do whatever works for you.

If you insist on calling yourself names, go right ahead. I personally think that throwing around the R word is for 13 year olds who don't know any better. Lacks creativity, at the very least, and certainly shows a dearth of sensitivity. It's boorish and crude.

If one person calling for a little sensitivity cramps your style and self expression, I have to wonder about your intellectual ability. Limited vocabulary? It's an overused word, not unlike the ubiquitous F bomb.

To an engineer or a specialist, it's a useful word. It's a verb. It has legitimate uses, as does the adjectival form. As an epithet, it needs to be retired. It's not a noun, and the emphasis goes to the second syllable, not the first.

Scared adolescents with impoverished vocabularies may believe otherwise.
