Hello everyone. Does anyone know why cameras were being confiscated at the show last night? According to people on twitter security was telling people that Jon didn't want video or pictures taken of the audience. Some people manged to hide them if they could fit them in their pockets. My friend Jen G had hers confiscated.

Did he really think with camera phones and youtube no one would snap a picture or any video would get on the internet? People could easily sneak them in if their phone was slim enough. It's strange he didn't want pictures of the audience taken. David Bergman must have taken pictures. He always does.

Everyone around me had cameras and security didn't do or say anything. Thought the show was great and Phil X rocked! Had an awesome time!

Then you were lucky because she is not the only one saying this. Jen doesn't lie. You probably know her she has a lot of friends. She is from Jersey. You can check her twitter. She has red hair and is wearing a cute animal mask.

You came on a Jon forum and said he did something strange. That's all it takes. They will do anything to defend him including lie. I know Jen G. she is a kid, 18 and she doesn't lie. A lot of people who went are saying the same thing on twitter and facebook. I also heard from just about everyone the show was disorganized and ended early.

This one the Jon fans will love, they said he wasn't just drinking water from his sippy cup and there is video to prove it, Its My Life. I am dying to see it my phone won't upload it and I'm not at home so I can't comment. I haven't seen it but it's the talk of twitterville.

Just watched a video of "It's my life" from the concert. What did I miss? Didn't see anything unusual .

Go on facebook, on my feed home page, there are pictures and videos all over. A friend uploaded an album of pictures. So if they were stopping cameras, they didn't a good job at it.

I have heard that this venue has strict curfew and regulations due to the casino connection?? I did find their policies online and the venue prohibits quite a bit. Cameras are restricted and no recording devices - which almost everyone now is using their phone which can do both? I suspect, being a rock show they knew it was impossible to enforce so did what may have been a feeble attempt?? Things like that never feel fair when your device is taken and the person beside you is left alone. One of those punish the honest policies.

Overview of Rules & Regulations of the Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza
The arena is a smoke-free facility ◾No coolers, bottles, cans or containers allowed.
◾No outside food or beverage.
◾No horns, whistles, noisemakers, banners or laser pens.
◾No video cameras or recording devices.
◾No professional lens cameras. Professional lens cameras are cameras with any lens 3 inches or longer.
◾No illegal substances.
◾No weapons or other threatening objects.
◾No re-entry upon exit.
◾No bags, backpacks or boxes allowed into the facility.
◾Electronic devices such as, but not limited to, laptops and mobile tablet devices that have capabilities of audio and/or visual recording are prohibited inside the venue.

Mohegan have been anal about following their no camera policy at some past shows. Just depends on the venue security closest to you. They'll also use the we are following the band's policy to get around saying it's our policy and we don't care whether Bon Jovi allow cameras or not.

As far as the time, most shows at Mohegan run about two long with about 22 songs. It doesn't seem to me that this one was shorter than normal looking at the setlist, but for some not familiar who compare to other shows on the tour, I think they would feel it was shorter.

It's my life is now on you tube. Sorry but no 'proof' unless you take him having two sips during the whole song out of a BLACK cup. A black cup that prevents you from seeing what is in it. From what I hear it's usually tea and honey.

This is completely untrue. It's a new rule for all showdown at the venue. If the camera isn't small enough to fit in a shirt pocket then you can't take it in. It has happened at all recent shows there.

The show ended at 10:57 for the STRICT 11 pm curfew.
This is all projection from Richie fans, whether it began that way or not. Just absolutely ridiculous.

My camera got taken away :( And no amount of pleading worked. It had to be the Mohegan Sun policy because I was allowed to take pictures during the backstage tour. It's not a "professional camera" as they called it. It's a 2 y/o $300 Sony that I've taken to many concerts, including Mohegan Sun in February! People did manage to smuggle camera's in though. I've seen guys with cameras bigger than mine. I'm still pissed!

Adorable! Thanks for posting! Was sad to hear the line "feeling sorry for ourselves" seems he is missing Richie? But at the same time always the optimist and professional. Speak if being professional, how good is Phil x? Amazing! And Jon seemed very thankful too!

I've seen it. Please tell me what it is that we are supposed to be shocked by? Strange for a place that supposedly said no cameras. I have so far seen 5 different songs from the event.
The talk of twitterville? Please show who us talking.

I wasn't being rude or saying it didn't happen, it just didn't happen around me. Sorry if I upset anyone, didn't mean to. My daughter and I had a great time and she got some pretty good pictures.
