Hey Everyone! We hope everyone had a Happy New Year! We wanted to get your opinions about ANOTHER RUNAWAY TRIP TO LAS VEGAS IN FEBRUARY! We are looking at a possible trip to LAS VEGAS to attend AN EVENING WITH JON BON JOVI. This would be a Storyteller-like show similar to the one on our San Francisco trip. The Vegas trip would be on Monday, February 24th, Tuesday, 25th and Wednesday, 26th with a private FAN CLUB ONLY show on February 25th - Who is in?

I wish I was in too. After reading about the Napa event a couple of summers ago, I would love to see Jon perform in that environment. Timing sucks for me with this one, so I will be bypassing it and hoping they will schedule some more trips or one off shows during the break.

It is close to the end of tour time for those who were at the AU or Japan shows in December or the US/Canada shows in October or November, but with the tour lasting for the full year, for many fans it's been more than six months since they were at a show.

I just can't see paying this much for this trip. I can go to Vegas a lot cheaper than this on my own. The San Fran trip was to a unique location, o a city not on the normal BJ schedule etc........ so it was worth the price to me. As much as I love seeing Jon a this type of show, I wish they were doing a ticket to the show only option, vegas is old hatthere is nothing unique ere except seeing Jons show.

Now they have added a photo op with Jon to the package. Is this to be nice or due to low sales because of the high price?!

Why was this scheduled so soon after the tour? After reading the comments on FB it seemed the
majority can't attend due to lack of $$$.

Pretty sure it's because it's not selling well. I've never known them to advertise a perk like that to a sold out trip and because this perk was added so quickly, I think it's an indication that this trip didn't sell well right from the get go.

That said, I've heard of last minute perks added once everyone's already on a trip.(like a sound check) I don't think that's been done for several years though.

In a way, it is sad. I'm guilty of traveling to a show or two per tour besides seeing them in or near my hometown and I know many do multiple shows however when it gets to be 20+ shows and they are following the band (but really Jon) all over the place and doing these over-priced fan club trip photo ops over and over again, in some cases it seems to have become an unhealthy obsession. I just hope the people who are doing this are also preparing for their future, retirement etc. and that they are not going wind up one of the "retired poor" that we hear about just because they had a rock star obsession. Or that they are not messing up relationships with husbands or kids because of the attention and money that is going towards chasing a rock star. I've knows some that have cashed in their RRSP's to see the band.(and I'm not talking about people who are comfortably retired, I'm talking about people who have many many years to go before they are near retirement age and they do not have the funds to see the band unless they dip into their retirement investments)
