He was wearing a Giants hat in the Hamptons so he's still a fan. Doesn't bother me I never liked football but in my family I have Green Bay Packers, Colts, and Patriot fanatics LOL.

Does anyone know if the number Jesse selected for his Jersey (80) has a significant meaning? Perhaps the year 1980?

I thought the boy in the picture was Jesse at 1st, too. However, if you click on the link again they are all talking about how it's not him. The boy is either another fan or the son of a player. They are all saying Jesse should already be at college for football practice & I think they are right. Jesse's number at Notre Dame will be 34.

That is not Jesse. That boy looks younger and Jesse doesn't play for Giants. Here is a link to Jesse which I hope is OK to post. Nothing personal about him, everything we know so far.

Let the icons start, but I think it is doing Jesse a disservice to mention his dad's career at the end of his stats bio. It should be all about him and his own credentials. That being said, I did not check the other players to see if their parents career status is mentioned as well.

Completely agree with you, it should not have to be pointed out. They mentioned his parents and it should have ended at that. Unfortunately that is the nature of the game and something that Jesse (and any celebrity child) has to live with all their lives.

I was impressed how they wrote John and Dorothea Bongiovi because John is the way that Jon signs all his legal documents and when Dorothea and family members write his name, they write it with the h. So I was thinking that was pretty cool, that they wrote it like that. It made them sound like Italian Immigrants that just came to America.

Not the same I'm sure as we are not celebs. here, but I looked at my son's old college sports Bio to see what it said. Under a paragraph called : "Beyond the Stats"; it lists things like his most memorable moments from his highschool stats, his parents names, brother's name, birthdate. No mention of what jobs we had though LOL ! Guess they weren't exciting enough, and they weren't ! hahaha

Maybe Jesse wrote it the players would have to give the info to be used. If you look at the first kid on the roster it lists his parents and then that his dad graduated from ND in 1973.

Justin Combs plays for UCLA, looked at what his says lists his mom & dad. Also, who his dad is. http://www.uclabruins.com/ViewArticle.dbml...

I'm sure both boys are proud of what their fathers have done.

You might be right but to me that sounded like a second person wrote that not Jesse. Not to say that Jesse is not proud of his Dad but I don't think Jesse would write father: reknown singer, actor etc etc. I remember another article on Jesse where Jon and Dorothea declined to be interviewed because they wanted the focus to be on Jesse.

Thanks for the link Rosa.
